    Great thanks for your help!
I am just wondering why it's so hard to find in NYC, after so many markets have already gone through their allotment. I think getting 12 packs in stores is an issue. Might not be the best choice for NYC and surrounding areas. I will still keep an eye out. And yes the local IPA or die scene is crap, you have that right.

Not sure where you are located, but there is going to be another get together at a local bar on May 18th in NYC the night before the next Sixpoint small batch release. Shane will be there as likely some other Sixpoint staff and some local BAs. You might consider coming to that, great opportunity to hang out and meet the people from the brewery.

Wouldn't work for him since he'd probably have to arrange it through the app.

ha ha! We can do it the old fashioned way here on BA ! But you just gave Shane a new idea for the app!

@emannths was one of the early adopters and interested people in the app, we had a few great conversations during the beta mode back in Sept 2017

Would be great to host him sometime down at the brewery, or at a remote event up in MA (hint, hint...)

Don't tell anyone, but I might have been relocated to Jersey City. I kinda need to take the full-service @ecpho approach though, because real life (aka kids) tends to preclude beer excursions to Brooklyn.

Speaking of the app, when I saw 'Undefined Variable' in there I definitely thought it was a bug in the app.

Hey I'd sign up for that!
Seriously like to try this but can't seem to find any in SF Bay area. I can find others (eg at TW) but the app/website finder doesn't seem to work around here

Following up on this, just heard from our PA wholesaler:

"Totally forgot to send it I apologize! I’m not sure what area he’s in, but here are some of the best spots:

    West liberty beer

    JRs Beer

    Liberty Beer

    Beer express

    Duffys beer

    Bellevue beer

    Beer minimum

Not the entire list, but those are probably the best and it’s a nice geographical spread"

I will check in with the wholesaler this week and see what the plan is. I know we already fired up the kettles to brew some more a while ago....

    Sixpoint,

Just wanted to let you know that your helles is also a good beer with food. It worked very well today with schäufele, blaukraut, and rostkartoffeln (roasted pork shoulder, red cabbage, & roasted potatoes). Thanks, and please keep working on that helles bock. :beers:

Finally tracked this down with the help of Sixpoint and crew. It's truly delightful and better than Firestone Lager as it has something of a malt backbone and the spicy hop profile balances out nicely. Is this year round or a seasonal?

We were wondering how many people were going to comment on that...or if it was just going to be a fringe thing. Surprisingly, a lot of people actually chimed in about it...

Looks like you could use a beverage holder on that lawnmower. The engine block leads to rapid warming of the lager :-)

did you make this at home, or was this enjoyed out a German restaurant/pub?

expect to see it year-round....although we are looking into different canning formats and packaging sizes....

    cheers

Just making sure you have successfully located this beer now. Reach out to us personally if you need any more help.

Right now we are not getting a ton of interest from wholesalers on the larger cans, simply because they think it would have to compete with large cans of Bud, Coors, Heineken, etc.

Instead, the 6-packs seem like the new (old) format we would be adding in the 2nd half of the year.

    cheers

Don’t want to derail the thread, but I think we are on the same page here...
First, my shopping trip from today

Second, This is my first non draft pour of Fat Heads version.

It is decernibly heavier/creamier despite the exact same abv. On that front I prefer Alpenflo and it’s more pilsner like crispness I think. However, the grainy flavor depth is a bit better on this one though I believe. Interesting how much the American versions vary, yet stay within the same flavor profile. Anyway, I am throwing this out there because I am going to throw one of these out there to Shane to see what he thinks. If nothing else, you should dig the label.
