    It's such a bummer. 2016 FVM was one of my favorite things I've ever tried. in 2016, a buddy and I got a FMV and a Handjee. We opened both at a share the same night and agreed the FMV was the better beer.

    I still can't believe the 2017 is that bad. He's got one that we are going to open soon.

    Have they ever poured variants in VIP tent? I keep reading that it's kind of a raw deal as far as the perks other than being able to go to DLD for free (but no bottles or anything).

    They seem to do a pretty decent lineup of different genres. I can't remember seeing any traditional heavy metal groups in their lineups, but there's about one thrash band a year.

    In the last four or five years they definitely lean hard towards sludge/stoner stuff and sometimes more accesible death metal/partially death metal bands like Amon Amarth and Skeletonwitch.
