I can't imagine most of the attendees at DLD would either have the attention span to sit through a YOB set, or the appreciation for it. I like the idea, but no, wouldn't work. Mike was a big craft beer guy though.
Also a page back someone said that there weren't any traditional metal bands in the past. Pretty sure Slough Feg played a few years ago, and they're as traditional as it gets?

Slough Feg played? That's an interesting one. I was going off of the last four-five years and didn't see them.

 

Ah, Fozzy. We can all get really excited for them and then stand around kind of half smiling because we wish we liked their music more.

Yeah he was the "host" or whatever you want to call it in 2013, talking between bands, less and less coherently through the day, haha. I remember yelling Spirit Crusher at the stage. I think the "DJ" might have even played something from the Death album he was on.
