It’s called “lost time” - peyote-infused Fruit Beer.

Sounds good! I'm bringing some BA stout homebrew as well. Sadly no cardamom variant. Maybe next year.

Ive attempted to meetup with people by setting a time and place, along with group cuts and messages.

Still is only successful about 1in 10 times at DLD.

    This seems way harder.

I’m carefully putting together an amazing concoction. Whenever I open a last beer of the night when I’ve had too many and inevitably don’t finish it or forget that I left part of it in the fridge, I’m making a great cuvée out of it. It should be glorious.

Last beer? Last beer!?!?!?! There should be no such thing at DLD.

Duh, this fantastic concoction is before DLD, molded together as a gift to the Dark Lord himself (or herself?).

    Is that better?

I'm so excited we are exactly a month away, to the minute, from being completely black out drunk.

Bring flip flops, shorts, t-shirts along with jeans, boots, rain coat and a winter coat just in case.

    Sounds like a plan.

    Switching topics...
I am a self-professed hop head from Columbus, OH. I had heard nothing but good things about Russian River Pliny the Elder but never had it (I don't get to the bay area much). Last year, someone brought several bottles and gave me one during the night before bottle share. It is indeed good stuff.

This year, I am hoping someone brings Pliny the Younger and/or Supplication to either the night before bottle share or to the festival.

What beers have you heard of/read about/yearned for that you hope someone brings this year?

That would be impossible... Younger sees no bottles, cans, or growlers.

But, Supplication is easy to get and excellent.

You're going to have to put PhillyTapFinder on your watchlist around next late Februrary/early March, or else travel to Cali during that time. Once a year release, draft only.

I will say, if you've had Hop Juju, you've had a better version of Younger. I don't mean to rag on it, it's a good beer, and it was way ahead of its time, but that time has come to pass now--there are a lot of beers out there that are very similar today, Hop Juju being the closest I've had. I had them side by side on draft in Philly this year actually, so it was a pretty easy comparison to make.

I'm just hoping to try/sample as many DL variants as possible, regardless of what they are. I'd take a pour of Dia Oscuro just to try it, even if it is disgusting.

Same. Last year I had Chemtrail, Dwarven Power Bottom, and Muerte. Other FFF pours included BA Behemoth and Gin Permanent Funeral.

I'm curious what their BA taps will be since they didnt release hardly any BA beers this past year. Maybe it means more DL variants on tap?
