Bruery 2018 RS/HS Allocations

Managed to get my Hoarder box today....it's going to be a fun filled weekend.

 

So it's almost the end of April, anyone hit the "threshold" to receive additional archive beers?

Don't doubt that. It's not like they will forget their promise. Whether we get it in April or November, fine with me. There's no rush.

Anyone else who got their Hoarder's Small Batch DRINK FRESH box notice that they were all bottled in February lol?

 

For those of us who only come in for the Anniversary party, would be nice if they could come through on that now...

 

I'm wondering if they weren't force carbed and were left to ferment more in the bottle.

 

These aren't IPA's, most BA beers need to sit after being bottled.

 

Hence it's kind of ridiculous to claim that they must be drank super fresh.

 

For a hoarder super fresh is 6 to 8 months maybe lol

 

I'm personally lucky to drink something the same year it's bottled. It's honestly a conscious effort for me to do that.

 

Anyone know the ABV for this year's Chocolate Rain?

I only bought one bottle this year and the front label is missing.

Any of the weekdays I buy are for consumption 3 or 4 years out. Just realized I still have a half dozen 2014 BTs and man are they drinking great right now.

 

Opened up a GM '14 last night Wow, was so smooth and a tad bit sweet. Nice to have a bunch of' 14 bt sitting around!

 

Cherry Chocolate Rain is surprisingly good. I think better than this years CR.

 

Anyone know what happened to Or Xata this year? I usually load up. Great summer beer and a good one to give guests that aren't into beer; always goes over really well.

Have seen nothing about 2018 bottles for sale, even at the tasting room. Not even on draft and in years past has been a staple for many months after January...

 

It's been showing sold out online for a while now too. Not sure what's going on there.
