What do you do with unwanted beer?

So far I have drunk it all. If unbearable I'd pour it out. Need to try to save the planet in other ways.

 

Try cooking with them. Brats, chili, curry, etc

 

My father-in-law just wrestled a case of beer from Thanksgiving past out of his garage. Some Sam Adams Winter, New Belgium, Angry Orchard... I told him to just dump it all in chili (maybe not the Angry orchard)

 

I use it for chili or just wait for some friends to come over and drink it. Simmering brats is another good idea.

 

I drink it, because alcoholism.

 

Three real choices;

1. Give it to the in-laws.
2. Target practice.
3. Man up and drink it.

 

I've found college students make suitable disposal units.

 

Compost pile or garden slug killer.

 

I usually dump it if it's that bad, that doesn't happen. Occasionally someone will bring over a few mix sixes, but it's rare I have beer I that I won't drink in the house.

 

I agree with cooking with them. Especially for brats.

 

Yup, great for brats. Puts them right to sleep.

 

Usually give to family or friends if they want, cook with them or do a "fridge cleanout binge" where we take small samples from each before dumping down the sink.

I actually dump quite a bit of beer, no shame. If it's not good, it's not worth the calories and I have plenty more to drink instead I do like.

 

I have 4 4pks of Southern Tier Back Burner from January '16 and I don't know what to do with them. It's way too sweet and way too hoppy at the same time.

 

I have no concept of what "unwanted beer" (except for AALs) is, so just send 'em my way.

 

Brats and chili. I'll drink the bad stuff 3rd beer or later .

 

Send it to me. Sees nothing nasty there.

 

On the rare occasion that I "dump" beer I give it to a really cheap buddy of mine, who is grateful that it is free.

 

I try to always buy beer that even if i`m not satisfied, I can still drink it. Otherwise I use it in the summer to dip the brats in as I turn them to keep them moist.
