$20 for an IPA bomber?!? And they said it couldn't be done.

Noon Whistle Edible Gummy is fantastic. Definitely one of the best hazy beers they have made. Smells like a bag of super fresh dank nuggets and oranges. Taste is the same. Highly recommended.

If anyone's thinking about windmill, at least get over there for a pour. The double and triple are fantastic.

For those wondering if the $20 is too much for the 3x ipa from windmill: It isn’t. If you think otherwise and are still coming LMK cause I’ll take it off your hands.

I passed but according to you and Untappd I made a mistake. I would’ve stayed to try it first on draft but I wanted to be sure I hit Hailstorm in time. I got to Windmill at 11:20 and there was remnants of what was probably a line at open. I was in and out in a few minutes. First time there and if the cans are good, I look forward to returning

At Hailstorm: Strawberry Cirrus was solid and Orange Stratus was awful. It tastes like a screwdriver with literal orange juice dominating it. It had zero Stratus qualities to it.

I'll bring some of the other cans. We'll have a mango share.

Illuminated Brew Works just released their DDH "Brony" again. Terrible name but super delicious beer. Go find some.

I really enjoyed it the last time I had so I'll be on the lookout in the burbs for a bottle. Also just had my first can of Boat Socks....wish it had a bit more carb, but it's delicious.

Boat Socks is excellent. Pineapple and some peach on the nose. Mouthfeel is on point. Super smooth juice bomb.

Agreed that it presents slightly undercarbed. I could tell before opening that would be the case by squeezing the can. However, when drinking this beer I wonder if this was intenational as opposed to a mistake (i.e. DDH Double Dusty).

So right after I go around praising Windmill I pop a can and the stuff is a shadow of the draft pour. @NNN have you opened one yet?

damn, i must have been the unlucky one. mine was extremely undercarbed.

wasn't loving the hop combo either, but it being almost completely flat just ruined it for me

Never had Windmill before. Memes and Le Creme were average to my tastes unfortunately

Finally stopped by Old Irving this weekend... Great spot for food & beer. Beezer (formerly Trendi) is a really good DDH IPA. Also, sounds like they are going to be hitting distro with this soon, 16oz cans.

I was there a few weeks back, and agree it's a nice spot with good food...and very kid friendly, at least at the brunch/lunch time. I had both of their NEIPAs (Beezer and Galactic Tangerine) - I thought they were decent, and good enough for me to order while at a family meal, but not quite good enough for me to seek them out for can purchase. I would like to support those guys and grab some cans, but I think I'll need them to be just a bit more in line with my palate to buy cans.

Old Irving and Eris Brewing both fall into that category for me. Convenient neighborhood breweries, good for meeting up with friends or grabbing brunch, but I wouldn't go here seeking out mind blowing beer.
