Wow, I mean, I had low expectations for this, but it basically tastes like corn syrup flavoured water or something. Terrible, I don't even wanna know what Miller "Light" tastes like...

Something a bit rounded for my afternoon . . .

Flavor is malt centric with hops singing backup. Initially there is more of a caramel taste with a slight undercurrent of roasty malt but not enough to throw off any roasted bitterness. This full frontal malt assault remains to the finish where hops assert themselves slightly resulting in a dry finish with just enough bitterness to be refreshing.

6 fairly crappy days of work done. Now, for some not crappy beer from Mikkeller SD, and some progressive goodness...

Oh my god, this is even worse than the Miller Genuine Draft. Clearly the worst non-infected "beer" I've ever had. I mean, this is even worse than Kölsch and that's saying something, right :smirk:?

I honestly didn’t think this was that bad, just very uninteresting and tasteless...

This weekends without beer thing isn't easy.

Such beautiful weather these last couple days.

Got a lot of next year's firewood cut, got the garden started and even got to the driving range a couple times. I'm almost in the mood for a NEIPA... This Dirty Bastard is so fine.

Got to catch up reading NBS.

    Cheers all !

Starting work at 6am does have some advantages like getting home early. Think I'll finish this beer and book and go back to sleep for awhile

This is probably one of the most underrated Double IPA's I can think of.

    $10 for 4

Super juicy and fruity with a bit of honey (very unique flavor)

Get it fresh and you're in for a surprise (a lot of the reviews on here are people that have it in June or July when it's been out for 2 or 3 months). It's comparable to Nugget Nectar, Hopslam and Hop Juju IMO, and for $10 the price is right.

Well, "tasteless" is already pretty bad in my opinion. Beer should have a taste. It should have malty/hoppy notes, which this lacks almost entirely except for very faint notes of citrus and grain. It also has a pretty unpleasant metallic note to it. While it may not be disgusting in an infected way, its sheer tastelessness is pretty awful in itself.

I agree, but I can sort of see why people would enjoy an ice cold one on a hot day...
