How was bottle count looking? Think it makes it through the day?

 

Considering that everyone who got them yesterday can go back and get more today...I'd be really surprised if they made it through today. I have no idea what the bottle count is.

Well they aren't open until 4pm today so when i pick some up I'll try for a count then.

 

Agree on Cycle. They're generally not friendly. They've never been rude to me but the bartenders are definitely introverts. One guy is generally friendly. Shorter guy. However, I generally know what I want and what is in each beer so I don't need to ask questions. If you're going alone and want to talk beer Cycle is not the place to go.

 

I assume there will be a small line at opening and I expect it will sell out fast. I think the silent releases are a good way to go for AC for a while until they have an offsite alternative. It will increase tasting room traffic and also eliminate the neighborhood issues. The only downside mention d above is that people can go back multiple days. But this probably is offset by the lack of mules people can round up with no notice.

 

had adjunct trail yesterday, it's tastes like a treated igccs w/hazelnut coffee, not hazelnuts and coffee but hazelnut coffee. Pretty good, I actually think I like it better than regular igccs, need to do a side by side to see. I'm a coffee ***** though.

How was the line at open?

 

30ish

 

At open was told they had a full cooler and four cases for sale with around forty people in line.
Cooler shelves had seven bottles wide X five deep by four shelves high + four cases = 188 bottles, at two per person 94 lucky people. So yea it didn't last long.

Damn these surprise releases.

 

I'm sure they are going to forgo the announced releases for awhile considering the shit show TBBW was.

 

A photo was posted on FB that showed 4 bottles left in the cooler.

 

AC is pretty good at letting everyone know when a release is sold out, and nothing was posted to that fact yet.
So i have a feeling there my be more in said cooler today at open, but nothing is for sure.
