I’m asking for a friend of mine, If you change the name on the ticket to someone else and their birthdate, do you need to just show their license to make sure things match or do you need to the card you paid with match as well?

    CNJ Bottle Share?!

The name on the ticket must match the name of the ID of the person picking it up, as far as I understand it. if you paid with say your wifes CC and you were listed as the ordered and you pick up that should be fine, but if her name is the name listed as the ordered she has to pick it up and I don't believe you will be allowed to switch anything

This is 100% directed at your friends, Kane could not have been more clear with the directions. Only the person who bought it (card) can pick it up. From eventbrite: couldn't be more clear

    • The person purchasing the ticket must be the person picking up the bottles. We will match the name and birthdate on the ticket to the name and birthdate on the valid ID to confirm identity.

Technically though all it means is that the person who picks it up must be the person who's name is on the ticket, not necessarily the person who bought it. I know for the OP release I bought the bottles with my credit card, but put my dad's name and address on the order and he was able to pick it up. So it doesn't have to be the person who bought it.

Why does the label say to "Store cold, drink fresh"? Because of the lactose? If one wanted to cellar one it should be fine, no?

Maybe Glenn can chime in (unless he's busy rigging new mixed fermentation systems or something).

probably a mixture of it being already aged, lactose, and adjuncts. that said ive held onto regular brunches for a year and they were fine.

Adjuncts fade with time: maple fades, coffee fades, cinnamon fades. They are telling you that it tastes the way they intended and the way they think it tastes best, while its fresh. People are gonna do whatever they want though I guess.

Also, I know sometimes people don't update their BA locations but if it is updated how is there a guy from South Carolina trading multiple bottles of BA Sunday Brunch already. Do people really travel that far for beer? Crazy...

It's somewhat of a technicality in that it's not 'Sold Out' immediately, it's "unavailable" immediately. At noon when everybody goes in, as soon as all the allocations are in people's carts, the site says unavailable while they complete their transactions (which they have a few minutes to do). Once all the allocations are successfully sold (meaning the transaction is fully complete) that's when it says "sold out". That's why you will occasionally see people who got a set at 12:08 or something - someone else got it to their cart, but didn't get through the transaction in time so they forfeit their set and it goes back into the pool.

So at noon there are "x" sets available, probably 10 times "x" number of people try to get them, so it almost immediately says "unavailable" because as soon as the max number of people hit purchase, they stop any additional people from doing so. Unfortunately, that only takes seconds given the demand vs. the supply we have.

I am by no means an eventbrite expert but i hope that helps.

Yeah that's what I was trying to explain in a less better way than you did ha

Yeah all their bottles say that, pretty much every brewery has that, although on certain beers from Kane they have the note that with proper aging the beer will develop over time. That being said I have saved brunches and cracked them later and enjoyed as much as day 1.
