Cigar City Guayabera Citra Pale Ale 5.5%
Distributed by Stone. Nice hoppy Pale Ale. Flavorful, fruity. Goes down smooth and fast. Looks unfiltered. Lighter bodied but not light on taste. Reps the Citra hop very well. I'm liking this brewery. Nicely crafted. You can taste the quality ingredients.

Daily lager review. Never had this one before also. Really solid overall. Solid head retention/lacing. Aromas and flavors of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and mild herbal/grassy hop earthiness. A bit too lemon/pear fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. A bit thin, but not watery finish. Bready/grainy malts and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing lingering bitter/carbonated dryness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4.5%. Perfectly clean lager flavors. I am not really understanding the hate on all these macro lagers honestly. They taste exactly how I expected, and there are no off flavors at all. Clean pale malt/grains and solid earthy hop balance for the style. Nice barley presence, not overdone on adjuncts. Make sure to buy the cans. This was way better than Corona Premier, but that is a light beer anyways. 3.38

This was, interesting. Pretty nice. Poor head retention and minimal lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of lightly tart lemons/juice, grapefruit, orange, peach, citrus peel/zest, nutty medium roast coffee, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate honey, wheat, biscuity malts; light cocoa/vanilla from coffee; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium body; very smooth creamy/bready/grainy malt mouthfeel; some sticky hops and light acidity. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Very easy drinking, never aggressive, 7%. A little weird at first, but I found the flavors to be very well balanced between lemon, coffee, citrus hops and bready malts. 3.71

Happy Thursday ba. Waiting for the jets to get on the clock. Although, they’ll probably just fuck it up like always. Fresh bottle of Double Negative, imperial stout, from Grimm. Just spot on good,

Roger Goodell, said he was with 3 of the greatest Cowboys of all time, I do NOT see Bob Lilly up on that stage...

Rhinegeist Anedromeda PA. I hope Baker's & the Brown's sake they pass. He will be a good QB I think. Don't know. Browns are broke bad.

It’s Thursday, right? While the salmon bakes, I’m enjoying this Cycle stout R1 Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with BA Coffee - “Thursday”(2018):

Whiff of coffee and a hint of barrel. Very well balanced. Alcohol well masked by the underlying base of chocolate and dark fruit. Cheers!

Lagunitas The Waldos' Special Ale, 11.3% ABV, 100+ IBU. Pours cloudy orange, with a one finger white head. Nose is hoppy fruit. Taste follows, and surprisingly only moderate bitterness - honey sweetness really balances this out. Decent mouthfeel, overall outstanding. Deceptively well hidden ABV, could really sneak up on you.
