Haze and gloves were both surprsingly good.

slightly OT, but was in Jersey this weekend, a store there had Haze Jude on draft for crowler sales. and some cans of their stuff too. guy said they are starting to distro there. couldn't find Haze in Lorain County for the most part but they are sending beers to the garden state now.

Do yourself a favor and skip the Saucy strawberry milkshake IPA. It’s terrible.

To each their own. I thought this was really watery, a weird bitter finish at the end, no strawberry at all. Pretty disappointing overall after Love you bye.

How many strikes does this brewery get?

by me? 583 beers on tappd. way more misses than hits. they suck me in with a great beer like High River and finally a good NE IPA in Haze Jude. let downs follow. its a pattern.

The only beers from Platform I'll even buy are some the kettle sours. Nothing else. Too much garbage from that brewery, which obviously has more money than quality beer.

Platform is a block from my office & i'd love to go more but I echo the sentiment in this thread. I liked Haze Jude a lot, everything else has been mediocre at best.

Too bad they will likely not bring back any of their "good" ones. They, and lots of newer breweries like them, have no interest in building a solid and recognizable portfolio. It's all about constant new releases.

And it works, you're a prefect example of that. Too many people are just after their untappd stickers and lollipops or whatever that videogame hands out. And breweries like Platform take advantage of this and spend no effort perfecting their skills.

    Platform is a shovelware factory.

ya as soon as I swear them off one of my platform loving friends brings over a good one. at least most of the time, they are my guinea pig, so it's not me wasting cash...and I don't care about my untappd, was just pointing out how many freaking beers they crank out.

oh and another one of my friends brought over call the dogs and it was way better this time.

    Here's a really stupid question:

If I was to drive up to Columbus is it possible to buy Hoof Hearted beers anywhere to take home? Can I get beers like Konkey Dong and Everybody Wants Some in 4 or 6 packs?

short answer no. Get a ticket on Wednesday for Sunday's release of Pineapple Clipboard. the brewpub in Columbus does have cans, but not the beers you mentioned. Those are ticketed events which they do a few times a year for those beers.

I thought Little Fish's latest You Wanted A Hit was pretty solid. It avoided some of the cloying, astringent, and vegetal notes I get from some lesser examples of the style and I'm excited to see how their future IPAs come out.

So Bo Schembechler's hometown is putting out some good NEIPAs? I better keep my eyes open for them. Thanks for the head's up. I'll also keep my eyes open for a dude in Rutgers gear at future HH releases  Last Sunday's was outstanding with the weather.
