Good to hear, thanks for the reply! I'm in the Cleveland area if that matters in terms of expected distro. Have great distro in terms of BBB, baptista, and triple .

Well here it is late April and I haven't seen a single Liquor store saying they have it.

I too really enjoyed Triple BBB. I would have bought more if it weren't for the price tag and how the other Baptist variants seemed to fall off fairly quickly.

We started selling on 4/20 cuz... reasons? Timing? Meh. But if you don’t see it in your own market it may be on the way. Not all states pick up as frequently.

I've been watching Denver and Colorado Springs and Fort Collins stores and haven't seen anyone with it for sale.

I'll keep my eye out here in San Diego and post if I see it.
If anyone gets an extra let me know, I have an extra triple BBB and other stuff I can trade.

MI will be getting a very SMALL amount and the Epic rep wants us to buy a bunch of shelf turds just to get a chance at it.

Its not for me, its for my store. Sometimes when a limited beer comes out distributors and or brewery brand reps will use it as leverage to move old product.

Oh, sorry about mix up. That still sucks, you should not have to shoulder the burden for them. I understand that is probably how the game is played but that totally sucks. Do a lot of the other reps play similar games also?

One distributor I deal with is notorious for this practice and they are very upfront and arrogant about it, the others are not as bad. The one distributor that leverages the most just happens to be our Epic rep's former employer.

BBB Reserve is making it's way across IL. Ran $19.99 by me. Looking forward to trying this one.

You definitely weren't drinking Baptista if it had chili peppers in it, as there are none in that beer.

The Reserve was probably my least favorite of the five variants, including the Double Barrel from last year. I wouldn't pay $20 for it given another chance. It had quite an unpleasant bitterness to it, that I interpreted as overly roasted coffee, but could have been something else. Outside of that, the other flavors that were supposed to be there just weren't. This was certainly not a bad beer by any means, but was just too subdued I think. The Double Barrel from last year is by far the best variant of them all, in my opinion, followed by the regular, Triple Barrel, Baptista, and finally Reserve. Regular Baptist is a beautiful thing. I think variants are fun, but going from none to three in the span of two years might be a bit much, especially considering the quality issues that we saw with the recent batch of Baptista.

Sorry, cinnamon and the additives in Mexican coffee. Still came off as too much for my taste.

Can u guys tell me....Is one case of this 6 or 12 beers? Reserve showed up in Northern CA at one of my places and they had 15-18 of them on the shelf. I grabbed one and had it last night. I liked it. It was smoky but I didn’t detect a lot of coconut which is fine because coconut can be a bit overwhelming a lot of times. I feel pretty fortunate to find this beer since so little was made. Yay
