Went up yesterday and had a few of their new IPA's.

Curtain Call was definitely my favorite

 

It's been sitting on the shelf at my Kroger for a few weeks now.

 

Wow this Brick Kiln Teku they have is awesome. I may get this to be my exclusive stout glass

It's a very cool glass but keep in mind it's smaller than the typical teku. It's 11.2oz instead of 14.2.

 

Picked mine up at the anni party and absolutely love it. Perfect size for 2 pours of their BA stuff.

 

Yeah I like the 11 oz size as well. Give yourself a little over a half pour and then refresh the glass once you drink a bit. Plus the mini tekus feel a lot less fragile than the full size guys for whatever reason.

 

Picked up a 2017 bottle before the 2018 drops in May.



Very very surprised at how well this holds up even with a few months of age on it. I've had Xocoveza with a good 6 months on it, and the cinnamon degrades to a sickly sweet apple taste. None of that with this stuff, it's still got the same habanero and cinnamon bite.

 

That's unfortunate, I had 3 years of Xoco sitting in my cellar and did a vertical just becase we love the stuff. I was impressed by how consistent they were year to year. No off flavors like that.

 

Hmmm that was last year (Xocoveza was from 2016). I actually have one from 2017 in the fridge that I'm kind of scared to drink. Maybe I should do them back to back?

 

At the very least, it's always a fun exercise

 

Problem with Xocoveza for me is that it is in 6 packs only, and it comes out right when the mother of all beer drops are coming out. Sometimes I can't get to my 5th and 6th ones.

 

Similar experience here. Love that beer, even with a year+

 

Picked this up at the Brewpup yesterday with my Oro

 

Went down Monday for my exchange and heard that there's a special bottle coming within the next few weeks. Has a unique name that I can't remember and is a blend of Oil, Appervation, and something else. Pretty limited and won't leave Athens from what the bartender said. sounded delicious and kinda bummed I likely won't be able to make it down to grab some.

Looks like Mandala is now a double NEIPA?
