New Glarus is stingy, nothing past the WI boarders...

For me here in the Land of Ice & Snow (MN): FFF & Cigar City

I usually cross the border a couple of times a year to smuggle some New Glarus here to Chicago, and miss my frequent trips to visit since-moved friends in St. Louis for the Schlafly alone. I'd trade all out of state/region breweries save for Brooklyn and Great Lakes to get those two here.

Sadly so. Late 90's they were in Chicago area but then the pulled out. I took them for granted, except for the kriek I guess.

NONE. I like the idea of beer being regional. If I want to drink some beers from the Coasts, I'll go to the coasts. Maybe a beer festival close to me will have some special kegs (see: GABF). But I like the journey...although I can't afford much of it right now. I had a blast drinking Pilsners in Prague, Free State in Lawrence (KS), and can't wait for HotD in Portland!

Founders is probably the best and most consistent amazing beers out. I have to go to Massachusetts to get them and it goes really fast.

Three Floyds and Deschutes both need to distribute to Michigan, but at least I can road trip to Three Floyds.
