Just received another email to register the wristbands that are currently in the mail. At the bottom of the email it states you can bring 288 ounces of beer and a variant is not guaranteed. It will be a variant or 2 vintage bottles .

    ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE
We will be sharing the band schedule next week on our festival website.

    BOTTLE SHARING
There are several rules in place with regard to bottle sharing:
    1. No wine or liquor is allowed on the premises.
    2. Beer brought in must fit in your backpack and may not exceed 288 oz., which is the equivalent of one case of beer. Backpacks should be of standard size (approximately 10” X 10” X 16”, able to fit in a milk crate), no frames and no wheels.
    3. Beer that is brought into Dark Lord Day may be consumed or traded.
    4. Beer may be carried out of the festival grounds, but it must be in sealed, unopened containers.
Thank you for your cooperation in closely following the above provisions when you come to Dark Lord Day 2018.

    REMINDERS
Dark Lord Day is a rain or shine event.
A variant will not be guaranteed. You will receive a variant or 2 vintage bottles of Dark Lord beer.

    DLD CURVE BALL!

So vintages back on the table and 288oz is back. This ought to get us to 200 pages.

That is what seems most likely to be honest.

Came here to post this.... god dammit... again... and then realized it also says 288oz of beer so this is probably not accurate at all...

Yeah, I suspect this is copy and paste from last year.

Yet included tons of info about wristbands? Guaranteed they did it on purpose to fuck with us. I appreciate their efforts to get the conversation back on track in this thread!

Could be, but the fact that it's coming so late the info could be accurate.

Pretty sure all that info was just copy and pasted from last year. The oz you can bring is different than the 72oz or whatever stated on this years site, too.

Looks like FFF and More got together recently for a little competition for who can provide the most bullshit update on their upcoming releases.

The email we are getting is recycled by eTix from last year. The official rules are on darklordday.com which states: 72 oz limit, random variant for all.

Seems that way! But lord almighty how incompetent are people for sending out an email to 10K+ people with completely wrong information. I send a newsletter out to 200 people and I am paranoid about putting in the wrong info. We should all get refunds for the “processing fees” because clearly Etix does not know what the F#$% they are doing!

Yeah I came here to post about the email, looks like you degenerates are a couple steps ahead of me.

I'm guessing it's copy pasted - all the NEW info about wristbands, etc. is at the beginning of the message, and the old stuff is all at the bottom. I'm 99% sure that's on Etix just reusing last year's stuff. That said... how many frantic emails do you reckon that FFF is getting about this? I can't imagine we won't get a correction before long.
