    (old) News:

"You guys like cans. A lot.

...we're pumped to announce we're changing the packaging format for all of our hop forward beers (and recently extended to some other styles too) from 750ml / 25.4oz bottles into 16oz cans!

Batch sizes and case counts will go up as we get our legs under us.

Cans will be available at both breweries, but please note we won't be able to split the cases evenly on the same day as packaging for logistical reasons (so fewer cases available in Boston vs Canton on day of packaging). Thanks on behalf of the whole trillium team for your support to help us achieve this incredible milestone."

First two can releases in June (end of the month) were Congress Street and Melcher Street. Cans come in four packs but you can buy individual cans, if you like. Yes, the date is on the bottom.

    Trillium Can Spreadsheet:

@jimmyfausto created this awesome spreadsheet. In his own words:

I've been maintaining a spreadsheet for all Trillium can release information, including sell out times, hours/days available, and other notes. I know availability is a frequent topic here, especially for travelers and newbies, so I've made the google doc viewable by the below link. (Let me know if people have trouble accessing it)

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mmBOt3Bia-mo5gef5A7nENRkFSBx7NCVaSXbH9RYJ78/edit?usp=sharing

All sell out information is from Trillium's social media, unless noted. There have been rare occasions where they didn't post sell out times for a few beers, in which case I guessed the hours.

    New Hours at Canton:

"OUR NEW HOURS RESOLUTION It's a new year! Time for a Team Trillium resolution: make Canton more awesome. We've always felt like party poopers shouting "last call" every Friday night, so starting tomorrow (1/6) Canton will now be open until 10PM on Fridays & Saturdays! And EVERY Sunday from 12PM-5PM! Cheers to more beer, more food trucks, and more fun in 2017."

Please note that LAST CALL is 30 minutes before closing! This applies to Canton site only.

Reminder: Fort Point site does NOT offer any on premises drinking.

Trillium Garden: Will re-open late May and run through October, weather permitting!

Atlantic Ave & High St, Boston, MA 02110

This beer garden is operated by Trillium on the Greenway. Serving beer by Trillium & wines by Westport Rivers Winery!

Draft pours only. The Fort Point location is a short walk nearby for growler fills and bottle sales.

    Hours:

    Wed – Fri 4pm– 10pm
    Sat – Sun 11am – 1opm

    Please Note:

    Last pour
    - 9:30pm
    Last admission - 9:15pm

WHEN WILL YOU CLOSE DOWN FOR THE SEASON?

    (ALREADY CLOSED FOR THE SEASON)

The exact date of closing is to be decided (contingent on weather), but we're hoping to stay open through September at least. Stay tuned to our social media, we’ll post closing updates there.

Quiet start to this month's thread. I'll start: really curious how the new Perm 34 tastes. Might pick up a growler tomorrow given the much warmer weather we're having. Seem perfect for it

Thanks for this review; I'm going to head down and get a growler next week when I can. This beer sounds divine and I hope they do more of them. Harks back to the Dry Stack days (even though they were higher ABV) which I loved and miss, and makes me think of that beer Six, which I also really liked. I think these light easy drinking farmhouse ales are so tasty, perfect for the spring / summer seasons, and provide such a nice change from 8% IPAs. I hope they can find a place for one of these in the regular rotation - perhaps as the lower ABV compliment to the Sunshower and Free Rise series'. Cheers!

“I’ve never heard of Patersbier before, but god damn trillium for hazing up this style that is surely is clear by tradition!”

Yeah I don't get that comment.

If it's excessively hopped (which, let's be real here, it's trillium, so it probably is), then sure, maybe it won't be great but I'd still like to give it a go.

    From their website:

    ABV: 5.0%
    MALT:Pilsner, Flaked Wheat
HOPS: Hallertau Magnum, Spalter, Hallertau Mittelfruh
    YEAST: Trappist Ale

Looks like they’re keeping it pretty traditional.

Picked up a growler of Perm 34 last night and shared it with my girlfriend. We both thoroughly enjoyed it! Super light and drinkable as advertised, but I also got heavy banana/bubblegum tastes like you get in your standard wheat beer. Honestly tasted incredibly similar to Troeg's Dreamweaver (coincidentally poured in that brand glass too).

I also picked up another bottle of Fated Farmer Blackberry to enjoy tonight after dinner. I think it's my third bottle at this point, can't get enough.

Stoked on this - that banana / bubblegum taste is one of the flavors that originals turned me on with Belgians / triples.

A friend got me a 4pack of Big Sprang. Poured it out and had a lot of floaties (assuming Yeast):

Anyone else experience this from this beer?

Fair Folk did that. They do most if not all of the visual/art for Trillium.

I also had a lot of floaties in my big sprang even a week or so after canning. I thought regular sprang was a better beer overall.
