This is my presumption as that's what I did in the past at Hunaphu. Come to think of it, each person individually registered their wristband with their own CC info and PIN.

At this point, I'm not sure what might happen if you just randomly tried to register a wrist band to an unknown person.

We won't know until someone actually registers their band, but I will say I'm NOT registering my credit card to multiple wrist bands to make purchases.

 

I was also curious how many people are going to link their cards to bands. I'm a little worried about my security. I can imagine drunk me shouting a PIN number that would likely be similar to other important PINs or making it something I forget.

Yesterday I emailed etix about linking a prepaid credit card as I am also worried. I am still awaiting their reply and I will post back when I get it. Apparently it takes 24-48hrs to reply. I emailed Sara awhile back and she replied almost instantly.

 

I’m just gonna tie it to my work credit card.

If people aren’t linking wristbands to their cards, what’s the preferred option? Each person with their actual credit card? Good God will those lines be awful!

I see losing a card as a much likelier scenario than losing your wristband. As I understand, and I’ll have to see once wristbands come in, you have to have your wristband AND put in pin to complete purchase.

 

I just don’t want the wife to criticize every penny I spend at DLD lol. If I can use a prepaid. Bonus! If not, I will suck it up and brave through the storm.

Yep. I have wristbands from the years I've gone too bonnaroo so I can measure up the perfect amount of slack for a nice fit as well as being able to slip it off

Haha! You’re telling me. My wife doesn’t drink. I don’t spend any crazy amount. I could just imagine her following my spending all day and texting me. “Did you really need that beer”, did you really need that Zombie Dust cheese chicken sandwich”, Do you think 10 beers is enough” lol. She’s pretty cool about it, but she probably won’t pass up this opportunity.
