New Glarus Brewing (2018)

I was at Total Wine in Brookfield Monday 4/23 and they had a couple cases of Strawberry Rhubarb 4 pacs. They also had a fair bit of Spotted Cow Grand Cru. As huge as their store is, I find it a little confusing when they have probably four different display stacks of various NG beers, the S/R was not in each display nor in the cooler but rather sitting on its own on a table

 

Fun rumor on the Twitter says that the next R&D will be a French single-hop pilsner called Mistral, may be in the Depot as early as this weekend.

 

R&D is what my guy said. Could be a surprise release like Gotlandic, but it's also possible he heard wrong and it'll be the next in the Zwickel/Hometown lineage.

 

Can’t really justify spending $15 on a single 500 ml bottle of a Pilsner. If this is what happens, I will pass.

 

I had a 2018 Cran-bic last night and damn, that might be one of the best beers I've had this year.

 

I really like the 2018 cran-bic too! I feel like this time around, they amped up the funkiness. Wish I would have bought more than the one four pac.

 

So Cran-bic is still available on shelves? I need to try me some.

 

Grabbed mine last week at Kenosha Woodman's it was at the bottom of a stack of Imperial Weizen. Wasn't much left.

Stumbled into the last 4 pack at a Piggly Wiggly in Plymouth, WI this past weekend. I did also see a couple at the Brat Stop, so it's around, but dwindling.
