@Black_Rider I saw your video on IG last night and thought "Oh no, that's not good". HAHA.

Maybe I'm more used to a brewery anniversaries being a celebration of the beer and a Thank You to customers and less of a concert/festival vibe. If it wasn't for Mike Watt and X I'd probably have more to complain about than just the organization (it was downright horrible, there's no excuse for that).

I don't really want to address the "bait and switch" thing because I tend to steer clear of discussing what I think I'm entitled to when it comes to beer (I'm not saying you're guilty of that, either). Yes, it would have bee nice if they came right out and said the anniversary beers would NOT be available for purchase at the event. The event page said nothing about those beers being available for purchase at the event, though...so technically it's not a bait and switch. Did telling people to stay tuned for more anniversary bottle/can details closer to the event maybe conflate the releases with the anniversary party? Probably. I'm in the well-that-sucks-but-I-get-it camp.

Totally agree, Swan. Much better said than I.

I had it on draft at the brewer a month back. I thought it was pretty decent honestly, at least as far as I can remember.

I desperately want this one. My father in law was able to get some. No luck up her in NorCal but hopefully soon. The can art is dope too.

Do you also notice the batch variation swings at times at BW ? Love the beers but there are definitely batches that are lite years ahead of the previous batches.

    Cheers,

Yes. Picnic lighting was my fave, but there was one batch that was not quite up to par with the prior, but then the next batch came right back

I had my father in law pick up some the other week when a store near him got some. I hope he can save me a can.. Same with Ask the Dust.

Man I had this on tap at the brewery in March, and it was great. I am hoping to see some cans of it.

Stopped by the brewery during the weekend and had some of their second anniversary beer. It still tastes mighty fine. I picked up a pack of Ask the Dust and I’m looking forward to cracking one open later this week.

IMO Ask The Dust is the best beer they make. It's so refined and balanced, I find some of their recipes get a bit muddled at times.

I concur. Really enjoyed Ask The Dusk and Tahiti, while on the other hand Thanks For 2 was one of the worst beers I have tried, and Clumsy Blood has sat in my fridge for over a month because I’ve only heard bad things.

Ask The Dust and Alligator have been my two favorites. Thanks For 2 was good but dropped off in the cans QUICK.

...they also have a good dry Irish stout on right now if anybody is into those sorts of things

Back in March, they had that stout (Vampire Blues) with cinnamon and vanilla. Holy crap it was good. Like liquid Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
