    They switched it this year to April 2 because they wanted everyone to be able to enjoy watching the cheating ass patriots lose without the distraction of 2x4 day

    I think doing things like this certainly helps:


    Monday, April 2 is Melvin Brewing’s International 2 X 4 Day and Belmont Station is one of only seven Oregon locations hosting events. 2X4, Melvin's Double IPA, has won gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival, World Beer Cup and the Alpha King IPA challenge.

    We will be indulging in the MADNESS that is known as 2 X 4 Day, with a bunch of shenanigans as well as a goodly number of Melvin beers on tap (watch our tap list that day for the big reveal)!

    As many of you might know, Melvin has caught a lot of fire recently for some bad behavior by one of the founders. After talking with the Melvin gang and learning about the extensive steps they are taking to make things right, we will be donating a portion of the proceeds from 2x4 Day to the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence. And Melvin Brewing has promised to match what we raise that day!

    The Collab-Fest pale ale they made with Cannonball Creek was my favorite beer at the entire show. It was totally bright but had as much "juice" as anything you'd find at Trillium.

    Chuck Morris, 4x8, but my favourite was the session Ipa Brosaic. Hardly a session beer but it was a tasty sob

    I had a year old Lambda last week that tasted great!
    It was stuck in the back of my fridge and I went ahead and cracked it. Didn't really seem to lose much from what I recall, though I don't remember liking it all that much to begin with. Seemed better than fresh though to me FWIW.
