Anyone who hasn't had a rancid pile of shit to pour down the commode, hasn't been drinking long enough.

That chocolate bock and the sixty one, both sound nice. Send them on into Wisconsin. I can make a nice home for them

Beer bread? I am thankful that my husband has a stomach like a garbage disposal as most experiment brews I've done that I don't like that well find their way into his belly.

If you're really not trying to be wasteful, get a nose clip. If you want to go a step further, have someone else pour one of the beers in a glass but bring it out to you with an empty bottle of a beer you love that looks like it - chill out and drink with your clip on.

I normally wait for a beer-loving friend, or friends, to come over and start pouring until we muscle through some of the, umm, more uniique beers in the fridge.

I figure it's only one beer, not a 30-year mortgage, right? So why not hammer through it?

It is rare I come across an undrinkable beer if I do I usually only have one of it and I generally drain pour it if I decide it is so bad I don't even want to finish it. When I have unopened beers I know don't like I generally give them away to friends. One time I gave a bag of them to a bum outside the liquor store. There is always someone around who will take free beer off your hands in my experience.

I had a chocolate Scotch ale not so long ago that wasn't enjoyable. Try mixing it with other Scotch ales but it tended to dominate. Eventually found it made a good beer bread.

With this sour/fruity/NEIPA craze going around, I learned NOT to buy a 4 pack if I wanted to try it. I usually give the duds away to one of my young hipster co-workers.

I saw a lot of the "cook with it" responses already--boil brats, make chili--but only a few "bake with it," so I'll second/third that. Bake bread, make pancakes, pizza dough... This is my go-to when I have beers that are overly malty for my taste, although the citrusy notes might go well with more dessert-bread choices.

Another terrible thing is to make radlers. (Are they radlers if they are not mixed with lime soda?)

I keep a corner in my fridge with all the random beers that I dont really care to drink. I save them for social events like parties where I need to bring something to drink but dont really care what it is and dont want to buy something new or bring something fancy.

I was thinking of doing a stop action claymation joint with them, call it “The Fridge of Misfit Beers” but I’m lazy, so I’ll either cook with them or they’ll survive well into the apocalypse.

There a few intersections and strip-mall exits in Albany, where there are always people with signs, looking for hand-outs from motorists stopped at red lights. I know they're looking for cash, but I've seen people hand them bottled water. Was thinking one of them might appreciate a grocery bag full of ice-cold fruit and tea beers, this summer. My wife questioned the political correctness of my idea. I said I would not be making any assumption that they are alcoholics on the basis of their homelessness; simply figuring that anyone standing outside all day, breathing car exhaust in 90 degree weather, might enjoy a cold adult beverage or two.

Listen to your wife. More than a few folks are homeless due to alcoholism ruining their lives, and you would be an enabler. Also, those that don't drink might give or sell it to minors. You could make beer bread, and give that away though.

Yes I guess you are right, and the people who hand them money may be enablers as well. This especially crosses my mind in the dead of winter, when I see folks choosing to stand outdoors with a sign in below-freezing conditions, over a hot meal and the warmth of a homeless shelter.

Yep. If it's got lime in it, I'll drink it.

Yesterday, I saw new Bud Light Orange at the store. The advertising reads: 'brewed with real orange peel". It made me think that if it wasn't for the fact that it is Bud, they may not have felt the need to specify 'real'.

Best damn steamed clams you'll ever have are cooked with a bottle or two of cheap pilsner or lager. Even Bud Clamato tastes fantastic with steamed clams, but I don't see that one in your photo. The red amber in your fridge might work well.
