I'm looking for a bottle of Imperial Storm Trooper (non-BA version)

What would I need to offer in trade to land one? Haven't really seen any trades for this lately unless it's involved in the grand scheme of a larger trade. Any help appreciated.

    Cheers!

are you looking for the next batch that is coming out shortly or one of the past batches?

I got a 2010 as part of a larger trade for some Surly 5 and other goodies. Getting some 2011 for some 2011 Darkness (bottle for bottle).

Imperial Stout Trooper is pretty easy to get in the area, although some places limit bottle sales- and depending where you are in New England you can get stores that only get a case or two. Those in the CT area can usually get more-- and someone close to the brewery might be able to get a growler fill (I know I did last year).

It's not terribly hard to find, so something tasty/local/limited should get it done.

I see you're in chicago- some bourbon county would be a good start.

do you mean Imperial Stout Trooper from New England Brewing? I still have a btl of '09 but the new batch is a couple months away at most, are you looking to set up a pre-trade or do you want a btl from last year

Yeah, I meant imperial stout trooper!

And to answer your question, I really wouldn't mind an old and new bottle.

Also, this is a bottle that seems to have a price creep... I've paid between $14 $19 a bottle and seen it for as high as $23.

One of my first trades was for an IST and I think I gave up an Abyss for it.

It depends where in New England you are. I know my friends/family generally have trouble getting it for me, if they can get it at all. I guess in some areas it is easier to get.

Traded for a few of these when they came out. I traded some RR sours for a coupld and i believe a couple RR Plinys for some others. Pretty much $4$ with limited or seasonal release brews.

Do the new bottles still have the storm trooper mask on the label?

I thought the guy from NEBCO said this years would be 12 oz bottles. Is that a change from last year, and can anyone confirm.
