The usual that I see around these here parts, $19.99. Yep I saw that and also the mention of $14.99 and at a Wegman's no less (post #58) and it makes me sad inside, as it usually does. :grimacing:

Yep, that is what I paid for my Party Pack; a total of $21.19 after paying the PA sales tax.
I am as much angry as I am sad.

    Non-cheers to this crap!!

And to think, we keep seeing the prices creep upwards...can't even find a sixer of Victory for under $10 anymore, it's bizarre.

Saw that new session beer buried on the website. Their site and what not has been odd lately. For example, the Party Pack box says Sidecar is 35 IBUs but the site says 45.

SN Kölsch should be a year-round offering from Sierra Nevada. I love it every time they offer it. Adios Otra Vez.

It wouldn’t be a good SN thread without you bitching about the price you pay in PA.

I guess I appreciate the persistence....

    You mad bro?

The beer prices in Pennsy are ridiculous and frankly Im glad I don't have to deal with those prices anymore.

Edit: @JackHorzempa - what is that picture next to your name? I don't recognize you anymore!

Finally picked this up. Really enjoyed the Kolsch and Mexican lager....hope both are canned and sold outside of a mix pack.

Sidecar was a miss for me...just tasted a bit off in my opinion

3 solidly good beers that I could drink a lot of, but do not really care for the orange one. Fruit flavors in hops are okay, but orange taste was way too over top and should have been left out

I finally got my first Party Pack. I immediately had to open a Kolsch. It's just a perfect beer. If SN has any idea of what they are doing they will drop one of the lame recent year rounders (Otra Vez, Sidecar, Hop Hunter, Nooner, Trop Torpedo - take your pick) and add this one. I think it's time to write another email to SN.

I actually liked the original Sidecar better. The new IPA variant doesn't do it for me, even fresh on tap at the brewery. At least in Pale form, it just seemed more balanced or something, I really liked it. But then Mr. IPA came knocking at the door (marketing team, or whatever).

I agree, preferred Sidecar in pale ale form. Certainly seemed more balanced.

That aside, the rest of this pack is pretty darned solid. I'll be picking this up often during the summer.

Sierraveza sounds interesting to me for no other reason than Jack liked it. The truth. When experienced people say yes, why not. And I love their Kolsch anyways.

Do you guys really think Sierraveza tastes like an AAL ? To me, Founders Gold is much closer to the AAL style.

Do you have a definition for what an AAL tastes like?

From my perspective an AAL is a Pale Lager that is brewed using an adjunct; the second "A" of AAL.

Sierra Nevada Sierraveza was brewed using some corn grits as part of the grain bill.

Should Sierraveza be classified as some other beer style than AAL?

    Cheers!

Probably should have a new style for American brewed Mexican style American adjunct lagers ...
