AALs definitely have their place in the world, and that place is right now as the temperatures will begin to swelter most of the United States. I don't care how many double IPA's and imperial stouts I taste there is nothing quite like having a cold beer on a hot July day.

Your reading is lazy  My post didn't claim anything different from what you just said. I'm saying that it's your notion that outside forces are influencing this rather than it just being about individual taste. I didn't say that you were that outside force.

    Yes.

Cans feel creamy vs more sharp carbonation in the bottle.

    Enjoy

    Nope. That's a local price.

    Enjoy

I saw Founder's at my local Trader Joe's for the first time this week, and wouldn't you know it was a 15 pack of Solid Gold. Craft AAL is having a moment, yes. I'm curious to see how it works out for the smaller brewers.

Also anxious to try Sierra Nevada's. AAL's a style I haven't had much of, but as a lager lover I see no reason why someone out there can't brew a delicious lager with corn.

I like some AALs some of the time, and I'd never turn down a cold Bud or a cold PBR. Everything in its place and time, it's still beer, and sometimes it's a perfect choice. Im not much into the " I'm a craft drinker only " kinda thing, but for those that are that's fine too. On a hot stinking day an ice cold Bud is damn good, but so is a Pils Urquell, or a cold Heady. Depends on my mood.

Do you have a preference between the two?

    Cheers!

At that price, I wouldn't either. That's getting into Ballast Point territory with that price!

Yeah, bought for $1B and they can't make their beers more affordable? Meh, there's only a minute few that I like anyway.

Bottles, even though they are a tad more money. Plus I always thought they were the best looking beer bottle .

    Enjoy
