I am drinking my first can and I must say I am...underwhelmed. It might be that I haven’t had it in awhile but its just not “popping”. I am very stoked that they were bringing out cases of Oops! as I was about to leave. The last batch was the best one yet and I have high hopes for this one.

I really like this batch, but it is different. Previous batches tasted more complex and resiny, this batch tastes smoother and juicier. That may explain the lack of "pop" compared to other batches. It is only 1 day old, lets see how it evolves.

Yea that is a very good way to describe it. It’s almost a whole different flavor profile. It’s definitely a good beer at 1 day old but as I said, not what I was expecting. I’ll hold onto the rest for awhile (they’ll be gone by next weekend).

The one I had had that familiar lemon drop dank but was definitely lacked that “pop” you both described. I thought there was even a bit of a malty backbone, which I didn’t mind per se, but a little out of the ordinary. Given the fact it was less than a day old, i think the next can I drink will be more of a true example. Still a great DIPA, so smooth.

In other news - this batch of Oops! is fantastic right off the bat. I would be happy if they never made another beer and produced this daily. Perfect beer to end my brewing session with.

Drinking my 2nd Second Wave and it is has a little sweetness and a bit of malt. Still, lots of lemondrop dank. Nicely balanced, but a little off from usual I have to agree.

Does anyone know how the $10 pint glass thing works in the taproom? You pay $10 for the glass, and then get refills for the normal full pour price, but the benefit being you get a 16oz pour instead of the normal 12oz? Can you bring the glass back on subsequent visits?

Second Wave really now rounding into form!! Mosaic funkiness, has some chew to it now.

Drinking one now and was thinking the same damn thing. Wish I bought more than 4.

I think it’s just a one time deal. You pay $10 for the glass and a beer. But I could be wrong.

Just had some Soylebt Green on tap, damn. Super juicy and dangerously smooth for a double. One of their best IMO.

The board says "$6.00 refills" in the pint glass section, so I don't believe so.

Thought the same thing when I stopped by on Thursday. Kicking myself for missing previous releases.

I love most of the collabs they’ve been doing but I’m happy to see that Sand City has been canning a lot of their flagship beers since the re-opening. Hoping Guttersnipe makes a return soon and hopefully a Soup variant (or 2) is in the works.

Haven't been able to hop onto BA for a couple days so this is a great opportunity to quickly say thanks to @jrnyc for hooking me up with some cans of Second Wave and A Diamond In The Rough. Both are very good and as someone who can't make it out to Sand City and generally doesn't get an opportunity to do in person trades, this was greatly appreciated. Cheers!

    Hahaha - poor @rojapa

I knew you were up to something @jrnyc when I saw the subsequent “second wave tasting great right now”, “oh man second wave tasting better and better” type posts
