Only 200 allocations?! I can't take the whole morning off! At least they will be available on draft.

No way this is a fast sell.

Hazebros will be no shows. Well, one hopes they stay away.

Yeah, the last couple bottle releases (Lost Wisdom, Brain Skillzzz) were empty. Great for me!

Ugh, why couldn't this be ready just one week later.. hoping these (nectarine in particular) stay on draft into next week.

Hope you are right, but I have a feeling people will be out in full force for their first fruited sours.

10 mins until open. Line is to Vive la Tart, which means it's not nearly as popular as canned release, but certainly more popular than previous recent bottles.

1:10p zero line, probably half their allocation left of bottles. This time all sales were at bar, so they let people in at 5 people at a time.

The fruited sours were absolutely fantastic. The natural fruit flavor really came through. Medium, medium high tartness.

So the fruited sour bottles sold out last night.

I'm going to be there at noon today to hopefully grab another pour or two before the taps go away. (Btw, if anyone saw City Beer Store's IG, they're releasing Cellarmaker's 4:1 Blackberry at CBS tomorrow for their anniversary).

@AndresR I may bump into you. I gotta leave around 12:30 though, since I have a 1p meeting near Embarcadero

Cellarmaker is at least bringing those fruited sours down to the MT Festival of Funk.

Woe to can traders. I'm having a Taco Hands now and although it was absolutely wonderful last week - even in cans - I cracked one open tonight. It's ... no longer wonderful.

Last week it was pretty juicy and full of flavor. My can today is like savory, bitter water. I don't know why a few days make such a difference. Anyone else been drinking it lately? I'm not looking forward to my last can anymore :slight_frown:

@AndresR I appreciate the invite, but can't make it this time. I'll probably swing by City Beer briefly for that Cellarmaker blackberry sour and whatever other goodies being released for their anniversary.

I had some life stuff to deal with, so couldn't make the share (nor did I get the chance to stop by City Beer for their anniversary) but I gotta say... I saw beershark post about the event and boy did I miss out! :astonished:

Totally need to make the next outing!

No one's mentioned this but I will.

I guess CM is now just going for it.

Pretty excited for this and the others that they're bringing to the festival of funk this weekend.

Since last week's sours laterl until the evening, today's fruited Saison release was much more chill. Not much of a line to start, and that quickly disappated soon after opening.

As per their description, Tropical Impression definitely is pretty crushable in terms of taste. Not nearly as puckering as last week's sours. Instead it is a passionfruit forward showcase, with mild tartness that's around or slightly below that of recent Lost Wisdom.

While I'm less a fan of passionfruit myself, I'm glad Cellarmaker is hitting a range of sour levels for different people and different occasions.

Speaking of Are You Afraid of the Dank, I saw it on their upcoming board last week. And now it's showing up on their online taplist as coming soon.

Will it be draught only? Or is that potentially their next can? Hmmmm....
