Other Half in May!

It also looks like the Modern Times collab is on tap already.

 

Went in yesterday at noon during my lunch break and grabbed some DDH Mylar Daydream. There were 2 people in line in front of me. I felt like OH didn't hate me for a few minutes...

 

Don't despair, they still do, they're just having an off week.

Untappd shows DDH Mylar Daydream, Spicy Meatball, and All Royal E all still available. They have been good about Untappd updates lately.

 

Any thoughts on order of popularity for this week’s release? Broccoli first to go?

 

I'm just hoping it's not All Citra, which might be possible if they make it a double batch.

 

Not sure if, with five beers being released, there will be a double batch. If there is a double batch I would think the Modern Times collab would get the honor, and that All Citra would likely be the first to go. If there isn't a double batch I think the Modern Times would be the most popular.

 

Got to the tap room the other day as I had some free time and got to sample a bunch of stuff and pick up Mylar Daydream for Memorial Day weekend (Travelling for work the next 2 weeks).

I realized that I never actually had DDH Broccoli, only the plain version, which I was lukewarm on. I was pleasantly surprised of how much I liked it. If I felt like going this weekend I would pick it up. It's now on my always buy list.

Spicy Meatball was also fantastic.

The Berliner is a good first attempt -- the fruit doesn't really pop though, but, it was still enjoyable.

Triple Mosaic, was great for a few creamy sips, then wayyyyy too much.

Citra+Idaho7 was great, but, didn't live up to the hype I got from this board. I think I had too high expectations.

Ranking the beers of the day:

DDH Mylar Daydream -> DDH Broccoli -> Spicy Meatball -> Citra+Idaho7 -> Triple Mosaic -> Berliner

 

So OH may potentially have 8 beers this Saturday if last week and DDH Mylar Daydream last?

 

I actually quite liked TMDD, easily the best out of the 4 Triple IPAs they had on. I thought the two Triple IPAs from the Equilibrium release were not good though, way too boozy.

From the case count posted earlier on Insta, sounds like Mylar will def make it to tomorrow. Meatball and All Kings a maybe. Anyone know a more recent count?

 

Nothing scientific here but i picked up a 4 of meatballs and mylar today at around 7pm. Their Instagram post as of opening today said there’s “some” meatballs and All Royal left as of opening today. I’d say less than “some” for tomorrow.

Practically none, maybe 20-30 ppl, just down to Smith

 

No line at all and I think 8 beers available. This is twilight zone stuff.

Edit: not sure if spicy meatball was still there but I didn’t look for it.
