Hard telling. I was there earlier this week and took a peak at them, I saw at least one that was a Wild Turkey barrel, which I wouldn' think would be too great for aging, but what do I know. They should be brewing Huna soon I would guess, that might be a possibility?

Hard telling. Most beers will age for at least 6 months in the barrels, so it will be middle of next year before whatever goes in those barrels is released.

do I hear BA Hotter Than Helles? A local brewery here in Durham does a BA Lager, and its actually pretty damn tasty.

Don't waste those barrels on a lager, fill them all with Zhukov!

I thought Anderson Valley had exclusive rights to Wild Turkey barrels now.

Because you don't like them or you don't live in the area?

Maybe we'll have to set a tasting up. I have reliable contacts to CCB:slight_smile:

I would love that, and I have some connections in Tampa, and one had me a bottle of Brandy Huna but then the infamous exploding CCB growler incident happened. Yes one of those broken bottles was mine.

I live in NC, but it seems like I can easily get the bottled stuff. The BA stuff seems to elude me at this point in time.

So far I've been very fortunate. I'm originally from that part of FL, and I still have friends down there that always go and grab bottles.

hence the hard part. The bottled stuff is a bit of effort. The brewery only stuff is impossible for me. I dont have the ammunition.
