Bottle Logic 2018 (Q2)

Just opened a B2 and it was delicious.

GS and the GN collab tased most ready at WOL, along with SP

 

GS has historically been early in the year, so its already pretty late. I'd be surprised if it wasn't the next release.

 

Opened up a bottle of b2 tonight, it's tasting great over here. So maybe (hopefully) just a one-off issue with your bottle?

I can't decide if this will be a monster release (that Horus hype) or a mellow one ("Strong ale").

 

I'm just glad it's not Horus priced

It was not very well-received at WOL, very polarizing from everyone I talked to and heard people consistently say it was one of their least favorite from the entire week. Also, strong ale, which historically have almost zero hype. I'd expect a Red Rover/Picture If You Will-type release for this one.

I'm surprised they're dropping this one right now considering it's only been in barrels at the most 6 months at this point. I remember the Instagram post for this collab when they were brewing it and it was right before Halloween. Seems like a short period of time in the barrel for BL. Timing seemed ripe for the picking with Beer Geek Observation since it's been a year. Oh well, maybe next month.

 

I hated this one at WoL. I especially disliked the lactose, it made it too sweet. I don’t see it anywhere on the description so maybe they got rid of it. Still not sure I’ll pull the trigger.

 

I love BL's Strong Ales.. Cocoa Butter should be an interesting ingredient to experience.

 

I do like BL strong ales, and I apparently rated it pretty highly. So...hopefully we get enough to fill up on the allocation!

 

I really dug it during WoL, like a liquid macadamia nut cookie.

 

So for the easter egg codes, do you have to wait to start guessing until the private sale on Friday or can you start guessing now? Also, if you guess the egg code, can you also still get the private sale on Friday?

 

You can guess now, and still collect on your AoE bottle on Friday. They’re entirely separate codes.

 

I give up on the easter egg, if someone got it congrats. lol

This was Cerruti Site. Wasn't a fan of it at all. Prolly one of my least favorite, tastes like melted cocoa butter. Gonna pass on this one.
