I got a 32oz growler fill today and it was $23 of their Triple IPA. Tired Hands is not wallet friendly these days.

Did have a great conversation with an inebriated man named Gary though. He was grabbing like 6 growlers so whoever is at that bottle share is lucky

Tired Hands pricing has been questionable lately but oh well, I guess it's lowkey a good move for me since it prices me out of beers I really don't need.

On the flipside, them charging so much money for these double and triple IPAs means that it's going directly back into the brewery as evidenced by us getting shakes every other week

Was there a year ago, great spot for beers in NO. It was a quieter night so was able to chat with some of the bartenders, especially a lively conversation with a Cowboys fan there working the kitchen. Food was great and I pretty much drank Parish beers all night.

Pricing is questionable? Welcome to the Tired Hands thread.
That being said I had a growler of Unexplored Maps the other night and for me it basically was a refreshing slightly fruity, slightly tart summer saison, was really nice.

Went there a few years ago as well, sat next to a guy that brought his own golden chalice to drink his beers out of. Really entertaining and interesting guy, wish I would have gotten a picture with him.

hahahahahahah yeah... ok... going direcetly back into the brewery as evidenced by milkshakes.... that's some backwards thinking... shakes every other week is evidence that it's going directly into other projects or things outside the brewery... shakes are pure $ machine.. jean used to laugh about all the "bro's" who lined up for shakes... why do you think the side of the cans of shakes always say "yo bro" or something similar.. then they insta post about how at mbcc or whatever they are wanting to get lagierbier into everybody.. shakes are money makers always have been... if they are brewing more shakes it's not bc they are profitable in other avenues, it's because all "us" idiots keep buying them up like rabid animals

believe what you want though... sure some shakes are still tasty but bc they are making money equating to the fact that they make more shakes is pretty much the worst hot take I've read in a long time

You do realize that there are several breweries you can buy from right? You dont HAVE to buy from Tired Hands. You seem awfully worked up for a brewery you don't have to give your money to.

They posted on IG about another location being built for more production. That money has to come from somewhere. Who cares if 100% of the profits aren't going directly into the brewery. Fact of the matter is that at least a portion of it it. As evidenced by their increased production of beer and their new location/equipment.

God forbid Jean wants to make some money for himself while he's at it. If people are willing to pay $6 a can, then charge it. We'd all do the same thing if people were setting down stupid chairs on a weekly basis to buy beer.

I also hear they, god forbid, pay their workers a decent wage and provide health insurance and other benefits. The nerve!

yeah i'm very aware, I've not been over to tired hands in more than 8 months and before than it had been many months, once the ferm opened my time over there became less and less even having signed up to be a member before the ferm openend, the ethos changed drastically once it become a mini campus in ardmore

by all means, charge whatever you can get, i'd do the same, that is business... just found it funny somebody thought that he was making more milkshakes because he is making more money when it's completely the reverse situation... like @jonphisher mentioned... if it means more lager tanks... thanks bros... i'm 100% with that

Cracked open my only can of Key Lime Pie. Full disclosure, almost a month old.

Dissapointed in this one. I'm getting way too much lime flavor with no cream or the Graham cracker to balance it out

They were out of Lush Life and Alien Church cans when I was there on Sunday.

General Store had plenty of Taco Hands, though.
