It hung around the brewery for a few weeks, but I think it finally sold out.

that wasnt one I was freaking out over anyway. Kind of in the same category as Cognac Moloko or BA Robert the Bruce.

It was good, but I think I was spoiled by Leon. It was my first BA CCB and holy shit balls did it set the bar high. I actually prefer Zhukov at $11.99 per bottle to the cognac imp sweet stout at $20 per bottle.

It was worth freaking out over. Absolutely awesome beer. The cognac barrel worked about as well with the stout as the AB barrel did with the barleywine. CCB is pretty much on fire right now with their barrel-aging program.

I saw some Hillsborough Co. Dry Stout aging in bourbon barrels.

Haven't had much of the CCB BA beers but some of the Cognac Sweet Stout made it up here to Jersey and I thought it was pretty damn tasty. Needs to find me some trading partners down there soon, I think!

To be fair, that was a Mikkeller release and part of their distro.

I wonder if the exclusivity is for Anderson Valley using Wild Turkey barrels and no other barrels. I recently talked with a barrel broker that was selling Wild Turkey barrels.

You don't need ammo, we'll figure something out. I have a few on hand now, and some waiting for me down south. Once I get all in hand, we'll blow it out.

pretty sure there hasn't been any CCB beer that went into distribution since maybe...Capricho Oscuro #2?

It is true we've partnered with Wild Turkey exclusively, however many brokers had already purchased barrels before our collaboration was finalized.

So I imagine the BA Big Sound bottles are gone now? Any rumors of what the next BA brew will be?
