So with Modern Times confirming that they are bringing heat, I imagine many other breweries will do the same.

We are all fixated on the FFF draft right now since we know what it is but if BA Abraxas or Apple Brandy Huna/Zhukov starts to tap then you'll see more balanced lines. We will find out soon enough.

I dont think FFF would spend so much time and effort and resources into providing a huge variant fest like this and then skimp on getting the guest brewers to bring top notch kegs

So far everything suggests that the festival will be ridiculous

following up, I did post a screenshot on IG and then of course FFF replies that E-Tix is wrong and guests do have to enter at the same time as the OG ticket holder. So I asked if I can enter without the guest and when the guest arrives can I exit the fest to get him in. No response yet.

 

My apologies if this has been covered in the 124 previous pages...is it possible to set up separate credit cards for each wristband?

At 3pm alone Handjee, Monster Tones, ChemTrailMix, Spaceforce!, and 2017 Ronaldo are going on tap.... This is only my 5th year attending DLD, but it already seems like it's gearing up to be the best tap lineup yet.

Now I think I understand the 72oz bottle limit, no need to get wasted on your own beer if FFF and guest breweries are bringing the fire.

 

I've asked that exact question in years past and received a "You must enter together" response, which is sort of a non-answer as it doesn't really answer the question.

For what it's worth though, I have done exactly that twice in years past and it worked fine.

 

I plan to share my whalez on Friday and bring hops + DFPF to the festival. Stouts will be flowing from the taps there and I'd prefer to remember drinking the bottles I've been looking forward to enjoying with friends.

 

They always say you must enter together but in my experience this has always been hit or miss and it really seems to be dependent on how many shits the volunteer checking IDs gives at that particular time. I have had a guest arrive at a different time than me on more than one occasion and they were allowed to enter without me. I think the same thing will be true of the 72 oz rule. There will be some security ppl that just glance in a bag real quick and others that will look more carefully.

 

You'd think that, but FFF always brings their shelf turds to other breweries' marquee fests....

 

I just got back from the future and must say my favorite part of DLD 2018 was when the POS system for the wristbands went down at 3pm and no one had cash to buy pours of the whales. I just walked up to all the DLD variant tents-no line, no wait- since 10,000 people were all of a sudden in the ATM line, I dropped an Abe Lincoln at each tent and found myself with 6 DL variants.

“Sorry, sir, our POS is a POS. Ha ha. Ha.”

[HoW turns, rummages through sack, and, with great effort, hoists what appears to be the corpse of Honest Abe up onto the counter]

I'll be hunting taps all day.

Then I will be selling those pours to people at the back of each line for $20 cash.

Then I'm using that money to buy hella variants. #darklineday2018
