Doesn’t darkmatter usually show the glassware for DLD by now? Also regarding these pour prices, I hope to god if I’m paying $10 a pour for BA Anything it’s a minimum 10oz glass. Shouldn’t be paying bar prices at the place they make it after paying to be there in the first place

Yeah.... There aren't "extra-special", I wouldn't even consider them special.

 

Not that I am a fan of Three Floyd’s pricing, however, to be fair the DL Variants are $50 a bottle ( price when they used to sell the bottles on DLD) which would seem to warrant a slightly higher draft price then most barrel aged drafts at a bar.

 

I couldn't find any shuttles going from the SW burbs (I'm in Downers Grove) so I ended up buying shuttle tickets from Beer on the Wall in Park Ridge. Wife is going to drop me off for the 1PM shuttle there, and I'll Uber back home for the night. Really hoping there's a more convenient shuttle next year.

 

Agreed! Crack The Skye is dam tasty though. Oil of Gladness is good, but nothing remarkable and Battle of Charro is cherry cough medicine with a shot of vodka.

 

One of the more underrated topics the past few years on the DLD thread has been the confusion and discussion over prices for draft beers (and now the size of those draft beers). Unfortunately, it never leads to any real arguing, which is probably why it doesn't get more attention.

I'm guessing we will all get much more familiar with the size of pours and prices this year....I can only hope there is still confusion and discussion over it in the DLD 2019 thread that starts next week.

To be clear, my post was because of that tweet. I do kind of think they're trolling on this - seems like sometimes they describe it one way sometimes another.

Am I the only one that's sad that there isn't a Muerte this year? Lounge isn't the same thing at all. Muerte was always a nice unpopular but still delicious variant.
