Daily lager review. This was very solid. Nice head retention and spotty soapy lacing for the style. Aromas and flavors of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and mild herbal/grassy hop earthiness. A bit of fruity aromas but not overwhelming; very muted strength. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malts and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. A bit thin, but not watery finish. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness. Very flavorful and pretty refreshing, 5.9%. Mildly increasing warmth of alcohol after the finish. Perfectly clean lager flavors. I enjoyed this quite a bit. Very clean barley/corn flavors and decent earthy hop balance. Not too heavy on adjunct character. It's very much acceptable for the style expectations. 3.41

This is very good. Nice head retention and soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of juicy/lightly tart/tangy strawberries, lemon, lime, citrus peel, pear, and melon; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; light herbal, grass, ginger, peppery hop; and yeast earthiness. Mild herbal/grassy/spicy/citrus peel bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; very creamy/bready/grainy wheat mouthfeel; light hop stickiness and fruit acidity. Lightly increasing tart/bitter dryness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4.2%. Never watery. Was definitely a fan. Nicely jammy fruit, with balanced pale/wheat malts and yeast ester notes. Definitely my favorite of the series so far. 3.78

Back again with another one of my favorites. Hazy Met Sally is one delicious TIPA. Mikkeller (SD) outdid themselves with this one. Bell peppers about to be in the oven, and the beef is browning. Bring on the grub. Cheers fellow advocates!

First time I've seen it at the local shop and figured I would try it since I see it on here quite a bit.

Good evening, all! Another great day in the Cedar Valley, 80's and sunny, a few clouds, and low humidity. Now seems as good a time as any for this Boulevard Tequila Barrel Lime Gose. I would have been completely within my rights had I salted the rim of this #proper stange and dropped a lime wedge into it. Of course, that would have upset the beer's perfect balance of fruitiness, tartness, and salinity. This is some seriously good stuff!

    Sixpoint Righteous Rye. 10.5%

Needed beer. Pretty sure i got a concussion yesterday after a stack of 10 sauté pans fell of a high shelf and hit me in the head. Sure as shit rocked me dizzy.

This is good. Whiskey heavy, you can taste the rye

Very nice APA. Great head retention and soapy lacing on the glass. Flavors of ruby red grapefruit, orange, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, melon, red apple, habenero, citrus zest, sea salt, and light pine; with moderate lightly toasted bread/dough, light honey/caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Similar/muted aromas. Light pine/grassy/zesty bitterness and pepper spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready malt; light sticky hops/peppers, and salinity in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/spicy dryness. Very flavorful and pretty refreshing, 5.6%. Slight lingering pepper heat through the glass. It's a little weird, but not overwhelming on any aspect. Great balance of citrus/fruity hops, grapefruit, habaneros, salt, and bready malt backbone. Spot on for the style. 3.88

This was fantastic! Awesome lasting head retention, and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas of and flavors of huge nutty medium roast coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, toffee, coconut, cream, frosting, almonds, cake batter, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of smoke, char, dark fruit, and herbal hops. Light herbal/spicy hop and roast/char bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy/silky/bready malt mouthfeel; light slickness, sticky hops, and chalky roast. Lightly increasing lingering hop/char dryness. Never acrid/astringent. Mildly increasing warmth of 12.5%. Dangerously smooth. Wow this was really impressive. Super rich malt complexity with great fruity/nutty coffee presence, and some lactose/spices. This tastes exactly like Tiramisu stout but richer, so probably the imperial version. Glad I already grabbed another single, there should still be packs around too. 4.23
