Huh? That wasnt some direct threat you dingleberry. Im saying generally speaking if More says not to line up before 7 and then sell out of bottles before 7 that is general bad business.

This is seriously the best ever. I can't wait for the updates tomorrow. I'm like a little kid on Christmas Eve right now. Best lunch break ever once again.

 

I agree, it's hilarious and entertaining. I plan on going tomorrow, and I'm not sure if I'm mOre intrigued to actually get a bottle and taste it on tap, or just to see the madness unfold. If I were WGN, I'd have a camera crew and a reporter not too far away.

 

I dunno, I'm excited for them. I find that, to me, Shaun is an adjunct wizard. Very rarely do I have a stout that pulls out as much of the flavor from the adjunct as he does. Especially with multiple different ones (e.g., Double Rainbow). If I end up with just one of each they're getting drank.

It's early, but it's not even necessarily about the ordinance. I think 7am is way too early, too. But at a point if you want a bottle, you have to do it. Based on the level of shit-lordery, I have demed 7am my time based on the ordinance, and the fact that More has asked people to not line up before 7am.

 

Last night I went to Andy's frozen custard and got a chocolate concrete with oreos, brownies, and melted chocolate chips mixed in. Better than any adjunct stout I've had tbh if you are just going for that chocolate flavor.

Or chocolate devotion from Cold Stone, big chocolate bomb that one.

Doesn't get you drunk though, but you can just do a few pulls of bourbon when you get home.

 

Wait I just re-read that. You think lining up at 7 for a 10 am release is JUST as crazy as 3am for a 10 am release? That is the difference of 3 hours and 7 hours. To me, that is not even same ballpark.

I do. I think lining up for beer beer is inheritly dumb for anything more than 30 min or so.

 

Oh yeah, I'm not going until 8:30 at the earliest. If it's fucked already then I concede defeat.

 

I'm not disagreeing with the craziness, but they have only kinda/not really asked people not to line up. They've actually said you can, but the police may ask you to leave. So, it's basically like all their other releases, where people showed up much earlier than 7. Their stance on it is not helping matters.
