They only had blood lord available for coffee when I went I saw necromancer as well. But they had all retail i went around 7pm got my mugs a hat and some blood lord

 

If you didn’t go sit in a porta potty in the metal area during one of the shows, you missed an amazing experience. The whole plastic housing amplified the music like a Bose speaker inside your body. A whole day of drinking whales might have also helped. But I highly recommend this to anyone next year.

 

Besides the variant lines which honestly could have gone faster had they funneled people to more than one pos system, i thought this year was great.

I was underwhelmed by hung drawn, and my palate i think was completely shot by the time ihad fvm.

Didn't really see many great guest taps all day, besides hunahpu...maybe just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I originally got Turtledogg, but fortunately moved it for Lounge Against the Macromachine, which i actually wanted.

Finally got to try mornin delight, which i felt was incredibly overrated and a peppery tssting mess.

Great day, and now we wait another year.

FFF should put a small pen near the bottle exit line to contain all the variant barkers. That crowd grows every year it seems.

A realization I’ve come to, is that almost all stouts taste the same. It’s just a whole bunch of shit thrown into together.

Very few beers stood out from the pack.

 

Sorry about that, got stuck in an epic food line, was looking for you but then got my food and didn't have hands free.

 

What time were the guest drafts not a joke? Seemed like they had the same turds up all afternoon.

 

OMG, that is the worst. It's like being cat called for your bottles...or they should have someone from the ATF arresting anyone selling/buying who isn't licensed just to scare those guys away in future years.

Great DLD day.....guest taps were initially hard to find is my only gripe. Got lounge against the macromachine (tequila variant) and was told by multiple people that it was the best variant this year. Untappd reviews while limited, also seem to have the same theme. Excited regardless and looking forward to next year already. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Cheers

 

I would totally support an “auto-tip” option when you register your wristband that automatically adds $1-$2 per drink. (User selectable amount even?)

 

Not sweet, medium to heavy body, the wine notes barely came thru for me. I liked it, but of the variants i had yesterday it was towards the lower end. I also was drinking quite a bit before having this, so i don't necessarily want to hate on it but the flavors i wouldn't say stuck out as much as other variants.

Vsod and hunahpu were really about all i saw, kept checking them.

 

Overall a great DLD! Weather held out. Fest entry was easy but they asked my +1 where I was. Long lines for variants early in the day but if you’re gonna stand around, why not stand in line. First time bottle sharing in the food line - thank you for the 3F pour! I ate the brisket and later the sausage. A lot of people walking around sharing bottles. Line pickup for group D went quickly - I got Chemtrail and was offered to trade/sell etc. Drank Brotilla, Chemtrail, Handjee and Broserker. Brotilla was very sweet. Broserker was delish! Only guest tap I had was a Boneyard IIPA late at night but saw a lot of interesting stuff. Great meeting everyone and drinking with @Krucifictorius while taking bottles back to the car. Didn’t see many passed out or sick people. Saw some posts about bottles being stolen...upsetting. Hope everyone had a good time!

 

BBT was a very good beer on tap, thankfully got a pour shared and didn't have to wait in that line.

Rye Dark Lord was the best variant I tried.

Handjee was too sweet this year.

Sherry tasted like regular Dark Lord but with a fruity sherry finish, so not bad.

Prairie managed to make the sweetest beer known to mankind with that coconut macaroon stout.

Because cigars and good stouts are a great pairing, don't judge haha
