    Spicy Meatball is sorely underrated.

    That is all.

Which is weird given OH's track record with galaxy hops!

They told me today when I ordered mine that it was the most popular thing at the growler fill station, so it seems like everyone likes it a lot... it would be really cool to see them collaborate with Hudson valley on one.

Anyone try this week's rendition of Green Power yet? The mention of "Vermont yeast" in the IG post seemed new (though I did nothing to verify this)... how's it compare? Given how 570nm turned out I'm optimistic abt this one

How long does a beer usually last on tap at the brewery? I might go next weekend. Thank

I can’t be the only one that thinks Laid Back smells like vomit?

You are not alone. I get a bit of butyric acid in the aroma, though I always get it to varying degrees with peach-heavy sours, so I don’t often fault beers for it unless the smell is really egregious. It’s a bit more present on the nose of Laid Back than it is on Hudson Valley’s Peach Silhouette, but luckily, I don’t get it at all on the taste.

I'm optimistic that they'll dial it in and crank out tastier berliners in the future, but I'm not a huge fan of mmm... fruit. It tastes like bud light soured on plums.

I think I prefer double cream get the honey citra to all citra everything. This came out great!

Damn it! Wish you’d posted 30 mins earlier. Got a growler. Was torn between that and Space. Got the space - solid for sure, but if you’re saying double cream is better than all citra - that hurts

It'll be around and I'm sure some will disagree! Both are fantastic.

    I actually really enjoy Crickets.

Really hope they brew more light/crisp beers over the summer. I need something to appropriately drown my sorrows as I catch nothing but Sea Robins and rage-quit while surfcasting.

Confirmed last time I was there, the Pilsner and sour are part of a series they’re going to be running, so there should for sure be more incoming.

Agreed. I picked up a growler of Crickets on Saturday and was very pleasantly surprised.

I'm visiting Brooklyn from the UK next month (in the week leading up to Green City but leaving before the weekend, annoyingly). I hope/presume the brewery will still be open that week(?).

Also, when cans are available are they happy to sell singles/mixed 4-packs? Luggage space is likely to be at a premium after a couple of weeks in New England and I'm planning to drink all that I can in the taproom, but would like a couple of cans to take home if they have them.

No mixed 4 packs / singles I’m afraid. And yeah brewery will be open. Open every day these days

Brewery is open 7 days a week so they should be open, whether they have cans totally depends on a midweek drop that week. They do not do singles or mixed 4-packs, your best bet for that would be to trade for it or there are some places that resell cans at huge markups.
