Really, Minnesota has much better distribution than South Dakota. About the only thing you will find are SD beers and a few from Nebraska such as Zip Line, Brickway, and White Elm (excellent). You can also get the newly christened Gold-medal winning Fernson Farmhouse, though not a fan myself.

You might be better off getting yourself over to Casanova Liquor in Hudson, WI sometime as Wisconsin has several outstanding breweries distributed there that are not in Minnesota. Have the world's best and thickest burger (according to me) at the attached "The Nova" restaurant (closed on Sundays). Casanova is open 365 days a year.

As far as Watertown stores, no idea.

Oh, I've made made many trips into bustling downtown Hudson (though I've never actually eaten at The Nova). Just was wondering what was available if I crossed the border on the other side.

    Thanks for the knowledge!

The Hy-Vee liquor store in Watertown has an outstanding selection. They often have tons of stuff just sitting on the shelf that has been picked clean from the twin cities area for months. That's my secret honey pot when I'm home to visit, but don't tell anyone.
