Huh. I wonder how many tickets they're selling. This seems like a recipe for slamming the ticket site with a whole bunch of traffic.

Welcome to DLD! or even Bottle Logic, Angry Chair, and Hoof Hearted style releases!

We'll see how it goes. Since you're on the hook right away there might be fewer people trying.

I don't think the post means ppl will be on the hook for the $100. It referenced "the ability to purchase" multiple times and nowhere does it say your ticket is exchanged for the items offered. Just clarifying. I'm guessing it'll be the same $5 ticket or whatever and money on day of for bottles, etc. Wish it was the other way around though.

I see, "the ability to purchase" is a scary phrase. Low price tickets would be a bad move IMO.

TG stated on Facebook "The ticket is not $100, it's a small fee to give you the opportunity to attend the release. Ticket price will be nominal."

It's basically a lottery then. No one will stop themselves from buying a $5 ticket, very few people will even consider whether they can attend or not.

Really wish they would charge full price for the online tickets.

lol I just think it's funny how they're playing it off like they're doing something new. Don't care either way I guess what system they use just seems funny. I am however a huge fan of the ability to buy a friend a ticket too cause it allows you to actually go and enjoy it with someone rather than having to work around the release slot and what not with friends, so kudos to them on that.

Did they really just announce a sale that doesn't happen for a month and a half?

Is the Fairfield Inn the hotel I want to stay at for bottle shares on Friday night? Reserved a room, hoping to get tickets then book flights.

Went to Assassin Day this year and most of the hotels were very strict on bottle shares for some reason. I stayed at the Country Inn and they did not allow bottle shares in the conference room. Could bottle share in your room however, that limits the number of people.

Speaking of Morning Delight, is there a way to differentiate vintages of MD?

It's exactly what they did in 2016.

Would like them to charge you $100.00 for the box set, that means youve planned and made a commitment to attend. Lift Bridge has done this for BA Silhouette (buy bottles online in December pick up end of January) . LB has a release party and then an additional week to pick up bottles.

I'm used to like 20 posts of vague hype-bait with no real info coming out until the week of the sale.
