My buddy is there now getting some crowlers & said the whole place smelled like peaches.

    He's prone to hyperbole, though.

How much were pours and what was the size for Double Rainbow. I think More was $8.25 post tax for the definite 5 oz

    I wasn’t there but looks like $6 for a 5 oz.

I did! Went there before going out for dinner (with wife’s approval).

I had a pretty disappointing experience today. This is the 3rd time in a row service was sub-par. Another BA and I had a table around 4, and yet there were people walking in the door at 5:20 getting pours of BA Henna before us. When our server finally came with it around 5:35, she had only one pour because the keg kicked. A bit better service for tables that have been there for awhile seems like a good idea. Every other server nearby showed up at tables 3 times as much as our server. We got a free drink card - that’s the 2nd time in a row I got some form of compensation for bad service. I’ve been quite the Corridor supporter, but it’s waning. And yes, I realize they were very busy this evening, but this experience was pretty bad.

As for the beers. BA Double Rainbow definitely tasted like Neapolitan iced cream, but zero barrel. This is the only bottle of BA Henna I didn’t get, so was excited to try it, but it was “just” a good beer. If I had a bottle, I’d trade it.

The peaches IPA is just that, although not too much IPA. Peaches and peaches. I’m taking a crowler to the beach this weekend to share with some non beer nerd friends.

They are always so, so, so busy, even when there isn't a release/special tapping. Way too busy for me to do anything other than get cans/crowlers, and I really enjoy their food. That space is so tiny (I get that they can't help this nor can they help being busy, but I don't like to wait, so I don't go). I agree that the service can be very spotty, too.

I hear you guys. I feel like the wait staff can get overwhelmed but I think the bar staff is excellent with service. Again, just my experiences

Unfortunately, I am usually there with two or three others, and bar seating for any more than two people is just awful.

Also, while I’ve had great experiences with the bar staff, I’ve also had really bad ones with them when I’m in one of the booths near the tanks that they have the bar staff serve.

I try to avoid the peak hours because it's always so nuts. It would be nice to see some type order to the chaos of these releases. Not sure how they'd do it with such a tight space. Obviously they do a line for can releases, I don't think that could work for these 5pm tap releases.

Solution: open a large brewery in the SW burbs! Preferably within walking distance to my house!

Similar to Tuesday's FR collab release, a very nice night out at Corridor. Arrived around 7:15pm and the place was busy but not packed to the gills. A few open tables if you were looking to dine with your drink. We snagged our spots at the bar. Zombie horde of Pastry Boyz must've waddled away hunting their next pour after Henna kicked earlier in the evening :stuck_out_tongue:

"Drink Me A Lot of Peaches" was my first time having a More Frooted style. The beverage was tasty but I didn't feel like I was drinking a beer. Oddly I felt it was too smooth and juicy as if the beverage was predominantly peach nectar than beer (ya ya ya, what is beer? who made you judge, blah blah blah)

SqueezeIt was glorious as usual. Love that beer.

Bartenders were busting ass. Felt bad for ordering a growler of SqueezeIt and 2 crowlers of New Wave Dance Craze. They probably need a 3rd person just to service growler/crowler fills during their busy times but that'd be a lot of bodies in a tight space.

I'm surprised they don't have more prefilled crowlers...

They had quite a bit at 5. I was surprised no one was really ordering them at that time. The neck beards must've been distracted by the Henna. I ordered everything up front and was out in 30 minutes.

That seems to be the common feedback on many reviews I've read.

I was with @croush and echo his comments. Disappointed to get there an hour early/table/food only to have to split the last glass of Henna while seeing others stroll in and get pours at the bar at 530. After I got home, realized my crowler order was also incorrect, so I had to go back to Corridor to fix.

Still, really like this place and pumped I got to try Henna. The peach collab was delicious (as was New Wave ipa). Food and beer are great, hope they continue to grow, work out some of the kinks with these bigger events.

I've had this happen to me, unfortunately I was back in the western burbs before I realized it...

That place was absolute madness last night. They had a sixtel of a super sought after beer and the bar was 5 people deep. They killed the keg as fast as they could pour it. I wouldn't have sat back at a table for half an hour and assumed I would be getting a pour. Tapped at 5:00 and killed by 5:32. Nobody was strolling in at 5:30 and getting a pour at the bar. Sometimes you have to be aggressive and just get your own pour at the bar. I think the bartenders in particular did an incredible job dealing with madness.

Not to mention many at the bar were ordering 2-3 pours pp.

How are the drafts looking at Corridor right now? Looking forward to the first taste of squeeze it
