    Hey guys,

I wanted to make some kind of black'n'tan tonight. I had DFH 90 minute sitting around. I didn't have a stout, so I went out and bought Green Flash Double Stout. I poured the DS on top of the 90 min.....OMGwtfBBQ. It tastes EXACTLY like a slightly weaker version of BCBS.

I don't know what happened. The taste of the 90 min practically disappears and resurrects itself by some miraculous interaction with the DS, creating that hint of bourbon flavor. The DS is already pretty coffee-heavy. It ends up working out very nicely.

So, for those of you who missed out on the real thing, this is an acceptable substitute.

    I thank you!

I'll send you some local beers if you "recreate" Double Black for me...

Take Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot and cut off the entire label except for the W in Wilco. Turn it upside down......

I accidentally recreated BCBS when I dropped two shots of Makers Mark into my glass of toffee syrup.

I once ground up some Reese's peanut butter cups and threw it into a pint of Guinness.

    Tasted just like FBS!
