Jai Alai is the #1 selling craft six pack in the country?

I think they left out the word 'canned.' I thought Dale's was #1 but both are in the top spots

Nice job on the new can design. I always thought the old ones were butt ugly.

    Doubtful.

I picked up a 6er tonight, it’s as meh as I remember from a year ago. Not bad but just a whatever beer.

I like Jai Alai okay. I picked up a 6 today and guayabera. Both are fine but will be one off buys. There are so many local and regional beers that are better at the same or better prices.

No one wants these anyhow. Whenever a place like this comes into town people instantly are looking for the rares. Outside of a couple of stouts CC doesn't have anything appealing there either for me.

This will be a bust like many before and many after .

Of the breweries that have entered the market within the last year or two, who has been effective or will continue to be effective? Pipeworks? [canned] TG?

Pipeworks is already faded. The TG regs are hanging out longer as well. Everyone if effective immediately, I wonder how long term the sustainability is.

The smart move would be 3-4 single drops a year.

Doing my best to keep TG stocks fresh.

I can't say I've bought any Pipeworks, but I've been buying Pseudo Sue consistently due its price point and quality. PS just hits the right Citra charged notes for me.
Yeah, I haven't been enamored personally by Pipeworks, but I've also heard people talk about its price point as being a huge draw. TG is definitely staying on shelves longer, but I'd take it over most of what's available at packies, even some of the fresher local stuff.

For me, I've got to check the date and also consider what my time horizon for finishing those brews is. If it's going to hang out for a while, it better be very fresh. If I'm splitting it with others over the course of a night, I am good with it being around a month old.

I'll post some of this in the "Summer Beers Thread", but I already picked up BBC's Busker Pils and Springdale's Das Weizen twice in the last week at Ball Square in Somerville (I rarely purchase full six and/or four packs, and even less rare would be a repeat purchase in the same week).

Both are excellent in my opinion, 5% ABV, cheap if I recall correctly, and great summer beers in cans.

Also picked up a single of Small Change's "A Little Rain". A dry-hopped pale ale at 4.9%. Haven't tried it yet, but they're a new brewery, might as well give it a shot. They're doing an English Dark Mild at 3% next, can't wait for that one.

Didn't realize the Berkshire pils was in cans now. Halleluja.

Just had a can of Viot the Beer Whale Cat. I found it quite tasty. I'm less excited about NEDIPAs in general these days, but this hits all the notes I'm looking for. Maybe a slight alcohol presence as it warms near the end.

    Tasty beer.

    cigar city, otoh...

Was the Vito brewed at Dorchester Brewing Co.? I recall seeing a recent batch brewed there. While they haven't all been winners, I like that Dorchester Brewing Co. has introduced or expanded the presence of a variety of brands in our market (Evil Twin, Omnipollo, Stillwater, Fat Orange Cat, Radiant Pig, etc.).

Is there a shop on the North Shore that has a solid and fresh De La Senne section? Looking for at least fairly fresh Taras Boulba, along with the rest of their lineup.
