I dont think Oh Dream was available today. Did you mean Oh Forever, or maybe Dream Power? Looks like both are still available.

I just use the back of other people’s shirts as I push my way through the crowd. It takes less time than the hand dryers and I get to test out different fabrics.

Can't tell if this batch of Space Diamonds is great or if I just forgot how good it is.

It’s is both always incredible and an amazing batch. Easily one of my top 5 OH beers.

So, it did happen. We got there around 11 or so today (Saturday) and they didn't even card him at the door. Being he is at the Bud Light stage of his drinking career he was not interested in drinking but I had a couple, got my growler fills and some cans and we were happily on our way. Hard to tell, of course, but there looked to be a couple other similar age people there who were also not drinking, for whatever that is worth. I would assume it being daytime helps with who they may or may not let in. At that time it was pretty chill and a real mixed crowd. It seems like if it came down to it he could have stood on the outside part of the bar table at the roll up door without an issue as well. Anyway, really enjoyed the place and grabbed some great growlers. For those that don't know, bring your own growler caps as it seems like they typically charge a dollar per cap it you don't. That said, they did not charge me and I have never heard of that type of thing at any other brewery, I never bring caps. Will definitely go back the next time my wife and I are in the city.

That’s pretty surprising. Even on weekdays there’s usually a guy at the door. It’s a recent thing with the new taproom, I never used to get ID’d. There’s a sign that they charge $1 for caps but I’ve never been charged for one... maybe they only charge assholes.

Also never been charged. But rationale is prob cos they’re the counter-pressure specific caps, vs the usual metal caps

Yeah, there was a guy checking ID's but he didn't ask us. You could be right on the caps!

    What's everyone's top 5 for non-single/double hop OH non-lactose recurring IIPAs?

    1) Mylar
    2) Broccoli
    3) Stacks on Stacks
    4) Green Power
    5) Cheddar

I should've picked up Green Power last week, I'm stacked with Lactose DIPAs right now and nothing else. I feel like Ron Burgundy, its so damn hot, milk was a bad choice.

For what it's worth id put a ton of other OH beers before all of those.

Give me metal caps every time, these plastic ones shatter when you ship by air (USPS 2-day or just putting in luggage). I have never noticed any difference between the two other than that But still happy they didn't charge me (and it didn't hurt their tip any either)!

The metal caps don't have the rubber part so they don't seal as well. Since Other Half uses a counter pressure filler their growlers keep a lot longer, you can probably sit on them for a month and they'll still be good,

Maybe I’m alone here but my 2 favorite beers are their 3rd and 4th anniversary beers. I really wish they’d rename them and put them in regular rotation. Two of the best ipas I’ve ever had. If they are reading, please, do this.

I agree that 3rd and 4th are two of their best beers, but putting them on regular rotation obviates the very point about what makes them unique among OH's oeuvre.
