The Chips were fine, I wish I would have made a vid of the unboxing, boxes inside of boxes and foam and bubble wrap. I almost shed a tear at the perfection of the packing. Oh and now I have boxes for the BA BIF!!!

I tend to go overboard on my packing jobs. I haven't had a bottle break on me (yet). Glad that I could pass along some nice packing material that will go to good use!

 

Yeah, NYC is still pretty much screwed. I'm down in Brooklyn and am pretty much stuck here. Traffic is crazy getting to Manhattan bc they put a mandatory carpool of 3 ppl policy and none of the trains are running between boroughs. As of today, from about 30th st down still has no electricity, all of the parts of Brooklyn that were on the waterfront are pretty much wrecked, Staten Island is destroyed and there's not a timetable on getting things up and running. Nate is right- if this had hit as a more forceful storm, or we had gotten the 5+ inches of rain they were talking about who knows where we'd be now because all of this was from 60+ mph winds and the storm surge at high tide.

 

Are we still waiting for one haul?

 

Not certain if I'm the last, but I am waiting on a box. It has been shipped, unfortunately to my old address. The address was not initially even a concern, but as the target ship date came and went many weeks ago, I finally moved this weekend and spaced on informing my shipper...

We're coordinating to have it redirected though... But fuck is UPS gay when it comes to redirecting a package!

 

We can finally put this one to bed....box has landed!
