ft: BA Affogato + Affogato iso: 18 Handjee

As a Trillium "homer", you are likely way short here unfortunately. Would probably need to add another big bottle close to the level of ba affogato.

Why's that not an even trade? Curious.

 

I offered up ba affo + tiramisu + Vanilla Truffle and also came up short so

 

So for really big whales like that, almost everyone values them at secondary market price. For example, ba affogato secondary value is somewhere around $215-250 whereas a Handjee is valued at somewhere around $450-600.

It can be tough to stomach, but if you're really out to get the big whales you'll most likely have to deal on secondary market valuations. A nice resource for getting a handle on those valuations is beer black book.

 

Don't quote me on that secondary valuation for the handjee, by the way haha... Not sure about that one. It could be higher

 

Derp. I was looking at a couple different trades and mixed them up in my head.

 

That's crazy to me. I guess it depends what the person on the other end was looking for, but I think that was a fair offer.

 

I see the Boston community is seeing first hand what California traders have been dealing with for years in "trading up" and waiting for a whale to come their way.
