I opened mine last night bc of the carb issues I noticed people reporting. No carb and very flat. :slight_frown:

Absolutely. Maybe I'll put the rest back in the fridge and save it for ice cream or cookies, or pancakes.

i know when i make the trek out to a brewery for a special release, this is exactly how i envision getting the most out of that beer.

after i get home from the revolution release this friday, i plan to crack every DB VSOD immediately and then let them sit for a week so they can be used for their true purpose.

As an expert in sarcasm, I know you are being sarcastic, but in this case I'd rather use it to cook than just dump it down the drain.

The pot roast marinated overnight in Quiet Giant and then braised was delicious.

Thinking about it. Quiet Giant always sells out really quickly and I am not sure if it's worth going out to willow springs for it.

Contemplating the drive for the release tomorrow. Never been to an IO release. If you do the lineup thing, they cool with shares, or is that a no-no there?

Sharing has been perfectly fine every release I've been to. In fact last year's QG release was terrific for shares, plenty of people there early, with coolers stocked.

What times had you gone in years prior? I know last year I showed up at open and had missed bottles by a bit according to the bartender.

Yea I went a few years ago and missed out on bottles as well (I didnt show up until like 11 or 12 though), there was plenty on draft though

Last year got there maybe 1.5 hours before release and maybe 70-80 in line, but by time sales started, it had to be 500 deep. This is their most popular release so that's one I know to go an hour or two early to get bottles (now cans).
