Will do! I'll just be happy to get a 4 pack or two if there is plenty in stock. Wouldn't mind finding some Harvest either.

Picked some up in KC today. 12.99 a 4pk. There was a one per customer limit so I changed my hat and jacket and went back 10 minutes later and got more. Love this stuff.

If I don't really like Dirty Bastard, would I like this at all?

Hmmm. If you don't like Scotch Ales I would be surprised if you like Bastard. Do you like other beers that are aged in bourbon?

I'm not a huge fan of dirty bastard but I love backwoods bastard. Granted I love just about anything that's spent some time in a bourbon barrel. Maybe I'll have some Blis tomorrow

I'm still pissed I missed it last year because it sold out too quickly, it used to sit on the shelves for a while, looks like it's no longer even a shelf beer...sigh...

Gonna try to look for some tomorrow. Safe to assume most metro Detroit stores got their allotment?

Having my first from 2012 right now. Delicious, but I'm a little disappointed that it isn't as barrel-forward as last year's. (My wife is drinking one from 2011 so I can do a side-by-side comparison.) Hopefully the other bottles will have more oak and bourbon--I can barely tell it's BA. Anyone else have any thoughts on this year's batch?

Edit: changed my opinion as the beer warmed. Poured it at cellar temp (55 degrees) but apparently that was too cold. It was much better and barrel-forward by the time it warmed to near room temp.

Has this turned up yet at Discount Liquor on Oklahoma in Milwaukee, or in Skokie/Niles/Highland Park near Chicago yet?
