They should be very low on some of what I suspect will drop. Last year’s shake sold out pretty fast, I believe. Wasn’t it gone within an hour or a little more than an hour?

Any ideas of a good place to park? Ideally the Ferm lot but that I expect will be full and also has a 2hour limit (if they chose to enforce it)

Honestly, anywhere you can... I find myself parking all the way out by the intersection of E Athens and Simpson, on the side streets, when it's a bigger release (shakes). I anticipate this as bad if not worse.

Yeah, if you don't mind walking I usually shoot down Athens and go on a side street which does usually have 2 hour parking limit signs. Some lots are free on Saturday/Sunday but you may be hard pressed to find a spot in there.

No 2 hour limit on Sundays

It's not that far of a walk from that big lot over across from Suburban Square.

Or is this a diversion that you are making!?!

    Cheers!

That may be a good place. About an 8 minute walk, though. May be tough when carrying a large amount of beer.

I went last year and it was kind of my worst TH experience ever. Got in line for the shake and got shut out. Went to stand in the rummage sale line and it was hands down the slowest moving line I have ever been in in my entire life. I was standing with the grimmest people too, the vibes were like we were in a bread line in 1931. I feel like was close to two hours. By the time I got in there was like Oat Potion and the red wine only void left. I didn't cry but if I definitely died a little inside.

I just remember driving home thinking what the hell am I doing with my life, beer is supposed to be fun...

Holy shit that sucks. I really wish TH could get it together and control their line a bit better (i.e. no, you can't just assume the line starts at the end of the sidewalk island in front of the ferm's parking lot and be allowed to cut in because it's too hard to tell you to fuck off) in order to give folks a chance who aren't showing up super early.

Welp, here's hoping it's not pain and cold, cold rain on Sunday, but who am I kidding?

Thing is they usually do.. and if you're not there to claim your chair they take it out of line and sit it next to a wonderful compost dumpster. I don't expect the anniversary release to be any different.

When will we see the start of the chair line?

Just a gentle reminder: you can buy beer at your local beer retailer without waiting in an x hour line. My local beer retailers have a 'boat load' of high quality beer available for sale.

Needless to say but if you just gotta have Tired Hands canned beers this is not an option for you.

Go to a local beer retailer and purchase high quality beer without a line = fun!

Waiting in a long line (x hours) to buy beer = ? It could indeed be fun depending on your personal perspective.

    Cheers!

Hope it's not as miserable as you guys are making it sound. I plan on showing up at 9, bringing a Troon crowler, and just enjoying the 3 hours of wait with some friends. Hopefully I'll get most of the cans if allotments are friendly.

Do they open their restrooms at all like OH do?

They do, just be careful with the crowlers, open containers are discouraged in line.

Exactly why I grabbed some Big Dream Sympathetic tonight. Obviously I would love some of the cans on Sunday but if I leave empty handed, I have zero issue enjoying whatever's on tap and walking over to the Genny and grabbing Trendler Pils and Hop Hands

Please don't drink in line. It's discouraged and puts them in a bad spot with local police. And they've explicitly asked in the past not to consume alcohol that you've brought on property

I'm operating under the assumption that I will be off property and don't intend to get tanked, but I'll reconsider when I get there based off what it looks like.

And definitely won't be obvious and flaunting it in front of police

At previous Anniversary Parties, did they fill growlers on the Saturday? I'm thinking no, but figured I'd at least ask.
