I've been fortunate to try multiple vintages of each of BBomb, Cinnamon/Coffee BBomb, KDS, Coffee KDS, and Rusty Nail. As with all BBA beers, there's define batch variation, with some being amazing and others not so much. That being said, '15 Cinnamon/Coffee BBomb and '16 Rusty Nail are two of the top three beers I've ever had. When Fremont is firing on all cylinders, their beer is absolutely pants-crapping incredible.

Also, just a fair warning, I didn't find '17 Rusty Nail to be nearly as good as '16. Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to get some on tap to confirm/refute my earlier impressions, but I don't want to set unrealistic expectations for those planning to go to this week's Fremont events

No problem dude. I tend not to set my beer expectations based on what some random internet dude who drinks Colt 45 says.

Rebuen's is awesome, and a small brewery in Seattle, make them a must stop, also Fremont.

Beer lovers from Charlotte NC in DC this coming weekend, any spots that is worth checking out? Thinking Bier Baron, any other great bars/pubs/breweries? Huge fans of Double/Imperial IPAs, so let me know if there are any stand out local ones I need to try. Thx!

Churchkey's a great and regular place most will recommend. Aslin will be having a release Thursday and probably a new stout on Saturday if you have a car or are willing to uber out to VA.

Not local, but lots of fresh Sip of Sunshine around. Last night Whole Foods H Street had it on tap, plus a huge pile of cans.

Central Waters event at MP is looking pretty good.

Not looking to hijack this thread but I'll be in town for a brief amount of time this weekend, Bluejacket worth stopping by to pick up some packaged goods on my way back north? Let's go Caps.

You are probably better served dropping by Craft Beer Cellar or Schneider's. Both are getting pretty cool out of market stuff due to Savor. If you are set on grabbing something local Right Proper's Brewhouse in the NE is probably easier to get to parking wise than Bluejacket. Not saying anything bad about Bluejacket, but I find their prices to be a bit high.

Nothing's kicked at MP, despite my best efforts, and it's less crowded than last night's Central Waters event.

It's been really manageable at MP and BP all week. Haven't been to CK.

Anyone have thoughts on sleeper beers at the festival?

I was shocked how reasonable ck was yesterday. Given I was there early but with all the crazy beers on I expected more people there around 5.

At the sovereign. The blackberry farm saisons are delicious.
Plenty of seats every where also at the moment

Never been to Savor, but I just scored a free ticket for tonight. Will I look out of place if I show up in a t-shirt and shorts? I'm fine with looking like a total slob, as long as I'm not the only total slob.

Bunch of Fremont still on at Churchkey/B&B. Also, MBC, Stone, Allagash (Belfius, Gratis), Night Shift available as well. I imagine there's quite a lot of SAVOR stuff around.
